Come and spend with me Carnival in Málaga! :) The Carnival in Málaga is a vibrant and colorful celebration, filled with music, dance, parades, and street performances. You will see people dressed in costumes and enjoy traditional Andalusian music, including "chirigotas" (funny and satirical songs). The Málaga Carnival is a mix of tradition, culture, fun and the atmosphere is simply great! :) Beside this I will show you the city and the best highlights, there is a looot to see.
My name is Tajana and I am very positive, fun and social person. :) I live in Málaga in Spain for over two years and I literally fell in love with Málaga. There is so much to do! I would like to show you Málaga and the surroundings as local, in a different way than travel agencies offer, there is always some special event going on. I am active person, I play Pádel, Pickleball, I like to run and walk, I like to paint and any kind of art and also I like to play Board games, Billiard, Bowling. Let's have some adventure together, you won't get bored and come home with many many memories! :)
I will book nice Airbnb apartment with private room for you and shared bathroom, kitchen and living room. The apartment will be in the city center or very close to the center (about 10-15 mins by walk). Exploring the city & View points & Carnival shows & parades We will explore Málaga city center highlights to get to know the city, I will show you the best view points. Then we will visit Atarazanas market that it's architecture is unique, has lovely atmosphere and offers local products and fresh seafood. Later on we will jump to Carnival atmosphere by watching the vibrant street parades and theatrical performances. Be prepared for music, costumes, and dancing! (optional: best ice cream in the city, museums (Pablo Picasso, Centre Pompidou or Carmen Thyssen) *plan is adjustable depending on your needs :)

Day 2-3
Spanish breakfast & Port walk, Malagueta beach & Costumes and facepaint Second day we will start with typical breakfast "Pitufo", fresh orange juice and coffee. Then we have a lovely walk in the port and visit Malagueta beach. In the afternoon we will prepare for Carnival atmosphere and I will help you to create some original colorful costumes to feel part of the Carnival crowd. I have an experience with Facepaint so we will create something very very special! :) We will jump to the streets and see Costume Parade full of creative costumes based on gods and goddesses with huge wings and crowns. We will end up the day with disco, music and some tasty drink. (optional: Art gallery Pompidou, wine tasting, Sangria/Tinto de verano, disco) *plan is adjustable depending on your needs :)

Alcazaba de Málaga
Day 3-4
Sunrise on the beach & Alcazaba palace & Flamenco show Our day will start with colorful sunrise on the beach. Then we will visit Alcazaba - Moorish fortress palace, you will love the details of the architecture, beautiful gardens and views. After that we will go to see the most authentic Flamenco show in Málaga, you will love it. Then we will jump to the streets and see Carnival comedy shows and typical Andalusian music and dance. (optional: Churros with chocolate, visiting Cathedral of Málaga and famous galleries) *plan is adjustable depending on your needs :)

Day 4
Paella & City center and Battle of the Flowers & Plaza de la Constitución The last day I will take you to the best Paella place in Málaga and you will eat as Spanish do. :) Then we will see the final Battle of the Flowers with flowers, confetti, group dancing and acrobatic performances in calle Larios and the main squares Plaza de la Constitución and Plaza de la Merced. Depending on your departure time, we will eat some typical Spanish Tapas or discover some hidden beautiful spots in the city. I am sure you will leave with many special memories from this Carnival experience! :) (optional: Typical Tapas, Glass museum) *plan is adjustable depending on your needs :)
