Edinburgh Castle
Day 1-4
π« Fly into Edinburgh Airport from major European cities on Friday night to join me on this adventure! π Day 1 - Saturday: Let's make the most of our day! π° We will start our visit around 10-11am by exploring the historic Edinburgh Castle. A fun fact about it is that it hosted an elephant (yes, I know craaaazy) back in 1838 when the 78th Highland regiment brought it with him from Sri Lanka after an expedition. The visit will last approximately 2h. It doesn't matter where we'll be in the castle, we will attend the famous 1 o'clock Gun! From the top of the castle, we will hear a π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ 'Boom'! But don't worry, it's just a time signal! :D After diving into Scotland's rich history, we'll soak in the breathtaking views of the city and explore royal chambers, great halls, and even the spooky dungeons! π» After visiting the castle, we will proceed visiting The Royal Mile - If you guys would like to, we can even stop by the illusion's museum π and enjoy see ourselves from a different and distorted perspective!

Royal Mile
Day 4
πΆββοΈ Let's continue our stroll down the iconic Royal Mile! (2-4.30pm) We'll visit St. Giles' Cathedral, saunter through the enchanting Princes Street Gardens, and admire the towering Scott Monument. Our adventure concludes at the fascinating National Museum of Scotland (4.30 -6), where we'll uncover captivating exhibits! ποΈ

The Scotch Whisky Experience
Day 4
To conclude our first day of stroll around Edinburgh, we will stop around 6pm for a Scotch Whisky Experience! But don't worry, we won't get too "spirited" π. If we're up for more fun, let's seek out Panda and Sons, a hidden speakeasy-style bar with mind-blowing cocktails! πΌπ₯ Around 8/9 pm π½οΈ we will satisfy our growling tummies by picking a restaurant of our choice! Whether we crave Mexican, Japanese, Thai, Indian, Vegan, or traditional English food, we'll decide when we get there! π

Canongate
Day 4
Day 2 - Sunday: Let's continue exploring Edinburgh and its neighbourhoods! π° Let's kick off the morning around 10 am after having breakfast at the hotel or in a nice cafe'. At 10.30 we'll head to the Canongate and Holyrood area, where the Palace of Holyroodhouse awaits us! Let's tour this elegant royal residence, see Mary Queen of Scots' bedchamber, and learn about David Rizzio's brutal murder. Around 11/11.30 - let's continue our royal tour and pop into the Scottish Parliament! π°π

Royal Yacht Britannia
Day 4
Just because we love to feel royal sometimes (or always LOL) - let's continue our trip to the π³οΈ Royal Yacht Britannia (12 - 1.30pm)! Step aboard HM The Queen's former floating Royal residence and marvel at the Rolls Royce, state apartments, and the engine room. Afterward, we'll explore the trendy Shore in Leith, where we might spot some stylish locals! πβ

Stockbridge
Day 4
π½οΈ Time for a warm and delicious lunch in Stockbridge (1.30 -2.30pm) before continuing our adventure to the charming Dean Village (2.30 - 4.30pm). Let's stroll through its picturesque streets and soak in the cozy atmosphere! π½οΈποΈ

Calton Hill
Day 4
π Let's end our day (from 4.30pm onwards) by walking up to Calton hill (hopefully we'll not be too tired by then) where we can enjoy the stunning night view of Edinburgh while sipping a cozy hot chocolate. It'll be the perfect way to unwind! ππ

Glasgow City Centre
Day 4
Day 3 - Monday: All aboard the train to Glasgow! π We'll hop on a train (around 8 am - specific time TBC) and make our way to Glasgow. We will arrive in Glasgow around 10 am and our first stop will be the beautiful Glasgow Cathedral, known for its stunning architecture. Let's take a moment to appreciate the awe-inspiring beauty! π°π

George Square
Day 4
After pausing somewhere for a lunch break (12-1pm) π¨ We will proceed to the city centre mural trail! Get ready for some vibrant street art as we explore George Square, the city chambers, and the Duke of Wellington statue with the Gallery of Modern Art nearby. Time to immerse ourselves in creativity! π¨ποΈ

University of Glasgow
Day 4
π we'll visit the prestigious University of Glasgow, where knowledge thrives! We'll soak up the academic atmosphere and take in the beautiful campus. ππ π’ Before we head back home (3-4pm), we'll explore the fascinating Riverside Museum, where history and transportation intertwine. It's time to discover the stories behind magnificent vehicles! ππ

Edinburgh
Day 4
Around 5pm we'll jump on the train to come back to Edinburgh. Now it's time to bid adieu to Scotland and return home with a treasure trove of memories! Hope you all had an unforgettable trip! Safe travels, new friends! βοΈπ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ
