Experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to protect Thailand’s natural treasures alongside dedicated national park staff. Join me in our impactful Turtles and Marine Conservation Project, where your efforts will help conserve marine life and contribute to the future of environmental protection. Situated in the breathtaking Thailand’s National Park, this project offers you a unique chance to work hands-on with the park’s conservation team. This project is ideal for those passionate about wildlife conservation, environmental sustainability, and cultural exchange. Volunteers are directly involved in vital conservation efforts, from assisting with turtle care to beach cleanups and ecological monitoring. What You’ll Do Your work will vary each day based on the needs of the park and weather conditions, allowing you to experience a wide range of conservation activities. Some of the work includes: Turtle Nursery Care: Help maintain the turtle nursery and care for injured turtles. Night Surveys: During hatching season, join late-night beach surveys to locate turtle nests. Beach Cleanups: Keep beaches clean to protect wildlife and enhance natural beauty. Trail Surveys and Maintenance: Assist rangers in monitoring trails and preserving natural habitats. Educational Outreach: Teach basic English to park staff if comfortable, supporting their interaction with international visitors. Renovation Projects: Participate in maintaining and improving facilities within the park. And Many More: Join a variety of conservation activities based on the park’s current needs. *After finishing this trip, you will also get a certification from the National Park honoring your help during your stay.* Living Arrangements: - Stay in National Park-provided houses with shared bedrooms. - Food areas are around 2 km away, accessible by provided bicycles. - Safe bicycle routes are designed for public exercise. - Comfortable accommodations with park staff, meals nearby, and bicycles for easy access. My name is Swiss, I'm running an Eco-Tourism/Volunteering focused project and I’m looking for like-minded travelers who want a holiday retreat while also contributing to the community to join me for a Volunteering Trip at the National Park in Phang Nga, Thailand.
We will stay in a shared-house provided by a National Park where we will spend several hours a day engaging in hands-on conservation efforts, aiding in turtle care, environmental cleanup, and data collection. Tasks vary to match current needs, including creating educational signs and conducting wildlife surveys.
