About me: I’m Kish, a 25-year-young soul living in Germany. I have previously lived in multiple places including Sweden, Poland, UK. I have been on multiple trips through JoinMyTrip and a lot of trip mates suggested that I should organize trips as a trip leader. I happen to completely agree with them and here I am starting to organize. You can read more about me here: https://www.joinmytrip.com/en/profile/DNYVNWpLnhQfxGGfDPi9UDVKpgW2 I love traveling and it has always been a passion for me. I travel to experience new cultures, traditions, and cuisines and to meet amazing people on the way. I have made some great friends for life along the way and I can't wait to meet you soon! Let's share our stories and experiences and become a part of each other's life. Here is something for a conversation started with me: 2 truths and a lie - Guess the lie when we meet in person 1. I get along really well with Giant Pandas 2. I was once escorted in a presidential convoy 3. I am a licensed wine taster Professionally, I work in the fashion industry with sustainability. Previously I have been a delegate for various UN organizations representing them in global forums, influencing multinational policy-making processes. I was also a co-founder and director of a non-profit and a social organization. Let's discuss more in person if you are interested. I can assure you one thing - I won't just be a trip leader but another friend on a trip with you.

Accommodation: We will be staying in a private airbnb for ourselves where we would have time to bond with each other. Depending on the number of tripmates joining and based on our preferences, this can be changed to hostels or hotels. It will always be ensured that will be around the city centre in both the cities. There is an option to try out garden camping in Estonia for almost no change in price. If we are okay, we can also try that. Any questions about the trip? You can let me know in the Q&A section! Let's make the best of our time in Finland & Estonia! See you soon!

Trip Itinerary
1

Helsinki

Day 1-3
On our arrival day, we will meet at our accommodation in the afternoon or evening depending on everyone's arrival time. This day we will just stroll around the city and explore the streets. We will have our first group dinner and drinks together in the evening to get to know each other. On day 2, we will visit the beautiful Temppeliaukion Church, an example of groundbreaking Finnish design. Then we will explore the city’s most prominent cathedrals: the Helsinki Cathedral and Uspenski Cathedral. Constructed in the 1800s, the cathedrals were built while Finland was a part of Russia. We will then wander the outdoor Kauppatori Market filled with everything from local produce to souvenirs. We will then visit the Sibelius Park. In the heart of it sits a monument to Sibelius: a renowned Finnish composer accredited with helping Finland develop a national identity. The park is on the waterfront of a large bay with one of the best cafés in Helsinki nearby. We will try to accommodate everyone's wish and modify the visits accordingly.

Tallinn

Day 3-4
We will have breakfast on day 3 and then we will take a ferry to Tallinn enjoying the beautiful views. In Tallinn, we will first drop off our bags and then we will head to one of the busiest streets, Pikk Tänav, both an important and famous attraction. Then we will head to church of the Holy Spirit, a church from the 13th century. The church sits near the Great Guild, a guild for merchants and artisans, operating in Tallin from at least the 14th century until 1920. On day 4, we will explore the Seaplane Harbour (Lennusadam) and later head to a craft beer tasting experience. We will also explore the iconic Old Town of Tallinn and enjoy a meal at Kohvik Moon.

Tallinn

Day 4-5
Finally, the day to say goodbye! Although, it was short, we would have had an amazing time together. So, get ready say goodbye and hopefully make plans to catch up again. On day 5, depending on everyone's departure times, we will probably split into groups. We will try to have one final brunch or breakfast together. Then all of us who have some time left, we have a few options to do some activities. We can discuss the details once the tripmates are confirmed.
