Hey there! 👋🏻 Are you bored of the classic routine? Would you like to make a little escape to one of the most beautiful cities in the world without taking any days off? 🌇 Come with me on a coworking trip to Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina 🇦🇷, the Land of Tango 💃🏻, asado 🥩, fernet 🥃, Gustavo Cerati 🎸, and the current football world champions ⚽️. -About Buenos Aires- Founded in 1536, Buenos Aires has always been among the busiest metropolises of South America, with a history of Italian immigration, aristocracy, culture, and exceptional food. The city is home to a jaw-dropping variety of landscapes: built by the De La Plata river, you’ll find everything from colonial architecture from the 1920s and prior, to modern skyscrapers, to literal palaces 🏙️. Every corner, statue, balcony, and man-made piece, they all have a story to tell about Buenos Aires. If you love nature, though, fear not, for the city has an endless amount of breathtaking parks designed during the late 1800s and early 1900s by landscape architect Carlos Thays 🌳. Staying in the capital city of a country of incredible food, you surely won’t want to miss their incredible gastronomic offer. From Argentinian-style pizzas to tender beef grilled the asado way, and from the local favourites to cuisine of the whole world, you are sure to crave the plates served in here. 🤤 Visit iconic tourist landmarks during the day and meet the graceful nightlife of La Ciudad De La Furia when the sun goes down. Drink with a view at one of the many rooftop bars situated atop the city,or head inside a club and party until 7 in the morning; the choice is yours. 🍸 -What We’ll Be Doing- We will be staying in the neighbourhood of Palermo, arguably the most tourist-friendly area of the city for your guaranteed love-at-first-sight experience. In the middle of the heart of the city, you’ll have access to subway stations, parks, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and points of interest, all within walking distance. We’ll stay in a cosy apartment with space for all of us to work comfortably and independently. In the afternoons we’ll go eat out, visit some key tourist attractions, and live Buenos Aires to its fullest. We might even do a wine-tasting experience if you so wish, these guys have exceptional wine. There’s always something going on, so feel free to go out whenever you please and have a walk on your own too! I’ll hand you recommendations on places to go and see, enter, eat, etcetera. The subway is a great method of transport in the city since it connects all major areas with ease, so I will provide you with a Sube card for you to use as much as you want. There’s something for everyone in Buenos Aires. Look, it’s calling your name!

About me! I’m Felipe (call me Eddy if you wish). I’m a lover of Buenos Aires, its sights, culture and people. From the first time I visited the city, I fell in love and never looked back. I love getting lost in its streets, tasting its Malbec wine with eyes closed, and enjoying a couple nights out dancing out to the best DJs the city offers. If I can share with others what I love about this place, I’m a happy missionary. For this trip there everyone is welcome! There will be no high-intensity activities or other tasks which may require to be in shape. I only want my TripMates to have fun, relax, and live the city to its fullest. Sure, the city has a strong offer of meat and all things dairy, but there’s plenty of room for vegetarians and vegans to find their way around it too.

Trip Itinerary

Ezeiza International Airport

Day 1
It's highly likely that you'll arrive in Buenos Aires through the Ezeiza International Airport (EZE), although please note there's another airport, Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP). Both of these airports will get you to Buenos Aires, the latter being literally inside the city. In the very likely event you arrive through EZE, we'll arrange an Uber/Cabify ride to the city, since the airport is around a 45' drive from Buenos Aires. Don't worry, the ride is super smooth and only features highways before getting to the main part of the city. I'll be waiting to welcome you right by our place. That afternoon we'll have some time to get to know each other, with local food, Malbec wine (if you wish), and a talk from me about the best places to visit, what to do, where to go, what to avoid, and so on. I'll also give you a handy little document for you to have all interesting landmarks, recommended restaurants, and so on, in the palm of your hand (phone).

Buenos Aires

Day 1-8
From the tastiest, cheesiest pizza slice, to the juiciest and most tender beef you'll try in your life, and from the modern skyscrapers to the elegant façades of the 20th Century aristocracy, you'll find everything in Buenos Aires. We'll explore the city as soon as we end our working hours, and discover not only the most touristic sights it can give, but also those spots that are often left behind, and which make the city so popular. We'll visit Puerto Madero, walk around Palermo and its uncountable landmarks, visit the Ecoparque, take a trip to the Japanese Botanic Garden, watch the Figueroa Alcorta avenue over the bridge leading to the Law Faculty of the UBA, eat world-class pizza by the Obelisk, try to cross the 9 de Julio avenue in one traffic light only (it's quite the challenge, it's the widest avenue in the world!), discover the nightlife around Plaza Serrano... the possibilities are truly endless. Buenos Aires has something for everyone!

Ezeiza International Airport

Day 8
Once the trip ends, you'll get a ride back to EZE. Be sure to pack all your great memories, and bring home a pack of alfajores! I'll provide a scale for us to weigh our suitcases before we leave so as to not risk having to leave anything behind at check-in. Have a safe flight!
