Day 1-3
Saturday Depending on our arrival times, we can either meet at the airport, or at the accommodation. We can open the trip with a delicious lunch/ dinner, and explore Kazimierz, the bohemian and vibrant part of Krakow, not to be missed on your trip. Kazimierz, located in Krakow, Poland, is a neighbourhood teeming with history, charm, and cultural significance. Once an independent city, it was eventually incorporated into Krakow, becoming one of its most vibrant districts. Kazimierz is renowned for its rich Jewish heritage, which dates back to the 14th century. Strolling through its narrow cobbled streets, visitors are greeted with well-preserved synagogues, museums, and Jewish cemeteries, serving as poignant reminders of the area's past. Today, Kazimierz thrives as a cultural hub, attracting locals and tourists alike. Its atmospheric cafes, lively bars, and diverse restaurants offer an array of tastes and experiences. The district's creative spirit is also evident through street art and a burgeoning art scene. Regular festivals and events celebrate the unique blend of Jewish and Polish traditions, fostering a sense of unity and understanding. Kazimierz's timeless allure lies in its ability to seamlessly blend its historical legacy with contemporary culture, making it a captivating destination for all who visit Krakow.
