Pulau Derawan

Day 1-2

Day 1: Upon arrival in Tarakan Airport, East Kalimantan, participants will head directly to the port and then proceed to Derawan Island by speedboat, approximately a 3-hour journey. Upon arrival at Derawan Island, check-in at the accommodation, have lunch, and then have some rest and free time. In the afternoon, participants can enjoy the sunset at the jetty or at Gusung Pasir Sanggalau during low tide.

Maratua Island

Day 2-3

Day 2 Derawan Island – Island Tour In the morning at 8:00 am, participants will head to Maratua Island (resort tour), followed by a visit to Goa Haji Mangku (depending on the tide), and then continue the journey to Kehe Daing (Kakaban lagoon) where participants can enter Kakaban Lagoon during low tide. Afterwards, we will visit Kakaban Lake (stingless jellyfish) and have lunch there. Participants will also go snorkeling at Wall Point Kakaban if the waves and currents permit, where there are many colorful fish. Then, we will visit Sangalaki Island to see the turtle conservation (hatchlings). In the late afternoon, we will return to Derawan Island for rest.

Labuan Cermin

Day 3-4

Day 3 Derawan Island – Labuan Cermin At 4:30 am, we will head to Talisayan for the Whale Shark encounter (if lucky) and snorkeling with Whale Sharks. After that, we will continue the journey to Manimbora Island. At Manimbora Island, participants will have breakfast and take photos. Then, we will proceed to Labuan Cermin (the lake with two different tastes). At Labuan Cermin, participants can enjoy snorkeling and take photos. After the water activities, we will have lunch at Labuan Cermin. In the late afternoon, we will return to Derawan Island for rest.

Tarakan

Day 4

Day 4 Derawan Island – Tarakan After breakfast, at 10:00 am, participants will check out from the accommodation and head to Tarakan City by speedboat. Upon arrival in Tarakan, we will have lunch then visit the Mangrove Forest & Bekantan (proboscis monkey), do some souvenir shopping, and finally, participants will be transferred back to Juwata Tarakan Airport.
