We are going to discover the swedish west coast, one of the country´s more fascinating areas. From islands once believed to be inhabitable to quaint fishing villages and some of the best seafood you will ever eat. The west coast of Sweden is beautiful, scenic, and most of all relaxing. We will start and finish in Gothenburg where we will meet the city and its history.
About me! I work as a waiter in Sweden´s countryside and I am very excited to explore the west coast with all of you. I studied tourism in the university and I have the passion of meeting the world. I am 28 years old and was born in Spain. I came to Sweden to rise my daughter that is going to be 3 years old and to learn everything with new perspectives. I have drive through Europe several times and I count with 10 years of experience on the road. My car is called Light Year and is a Toyota Auris from 2013 in quite good shape with extra trunk space.
Details about the accommodation: We will stay at different hotels and I though that for the sake of the budget that we share rooms in pairs. Breakfast will be always included and in some of them the Spa and wellness area. We can make last minute changes if you would prefer an individual room for a little extra charge (+600sek/night). We will talk in the group how we feel and how we want to arrange everything. The communication as the basis.

Trip Itinerary

Gothenburg
Day 1-2
The arriving date we will spend the night in Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel, where the Spa & wellness area as well as the breakfast is included. We will have also a 50% discount in the food of the restaurant if we decide to dinner there. I will be picking you up from the airport and when we are all together, we will have a tour to discover the city from both, land and water aboard an anphibious bus (330sek/pp). We will walk through the neighbour of Haga, which its streets date from 17th century with picturesque surroundings and I will give a guided tour. There is a tradition called "fika", which a stop in the middle of the day to have a coffe or tea and something sweet, here we will melt with the society and its energy.

Klädesholmen
Day 2-3
Once in the road, we will explore the swedish west coast. There is many villages and landscapes that i want to explore with you all so get ready and your cameras charged! We will see places like Marstrand, Tjörn & Klädesholmen (Where we will spend the night). We will sleep in a floating hotel called Salt&Sill Hotel with breakfast included and discount in the restaurant. The use of the sauna and the jacuzzi is also included. I do not want you to expect shiny days, it is probably that the rain will be our plus one during the trip, but what i can tell is that the rain used to be soft and intermitent so if you bring appropriate clothes there will be no inconvenience at all. And honestly, I would love to do Kayak through the islands but maybe we can go fishing in a boat or enjoy as many villages as possible! We decide all the time. Let´s enjoy the trip!

Fjällbacka
Day 3-4
After bid farewell to the Salt & Sill Hotel, we will continue north, visiting Smögen where we will eat lunch and tour around the city. Finally Fjällbacka, we will sleep in an apartment with breakfast and we will discover the town in a tour with a local.

Gothenburg
Day 4-5
This day we are going to take a break, we will go back to the city and we will have spare time where we can enjoy ourselves and explore more of Gothenburg. We can charge energies in the Spa, go out for meeting people or whatever we find interesting to do. We can even take the car to your suggestions and let see what we find!

Båstad
Day 5-6
We will meet the town of Varberg, its nature and museums. Then we will meet the town of Båstad and spend some time on its streets and surroundings. We will sleep in a fantastic hotel called Villa Brunnby with spa and breakfast included. There will be discount in the fine dining restaurant of the hotel, to keep giving us the good life.

Malmö
Day 6-7
And we arrive to the south of the west coast, Malmö. There is so many things at our disposal that we can decided together what are our interests. It is going to be Friday night, would you care for some fun dancing in a club? We will spend another night in the same hotel due to is very close and worthy.

Gothenburg
Day 7-8
And we arrive to the end of our tour, this day is a gathering together to sum up and bid farewell. We can spend one night more in Gothenburg for those that prefer to do so. I will be next to you every step of the way until you get back home. I can arrange for a Gong Bath with crystal bowls for a sound healing journey and you will arrive home like new.
