(2 people in a room, Women and men not in the same room) please see the gallery for room reference. 🚗 Transportation during your stay is also included. 🏇 Horse Riding and Cinematic drone video. 🚆 Pick-up & drop-off from the nearest station: Gemona and Villach can be arranged. Details about the accommodation: The hotel will be in Gemona, with a delicious breakfast included. Each day after our activity, we return to the hotel. Shared room with other TripMates, max 2 people in the room, men and women will have a separate room. I had an absolutely amazing time on this trip. Windy was great, and so was everyone in the group. I would happily go on another trip with Windy and highly recommend her as a trip leader! The reason I have knocked off a star is because we ended up leaving several hours late on the first day due to a hiccup (which, maybe, could have been addressed/prevented the day before). This meant that we were not able to visit one of the sites and do one of the activities (swimming in natural thermal springs) that I had been really looking forward to.

Villach

Day 1

1st day: Pickup tripmates Gemona, Italy 08:30 and Villach, Austria 10:30. We do a small walk around the city before we head down, passing Austrian - Italian border. We will get to know each other while enjoying the Alps view.

Monte lussari

Day 1-2

After Lunch we will take a cable car to Monte Lussari: A cute little village on top of the mountain at a peak overlooking the land where the Carnic and Julian Alps come together, from a position of privilege that positions it as the guardian of these borderlands.

Velika Baba

Day 2-3

2nd day: Hiking in Baba Grande mountain. Baba Grande, along with the surrounding peaks and valleys, is a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. It offers a range of hiking trails, beautiful alpine scenery, and a chance to explore the natural beauty of the region. Duration: 4-5 hours hike, T3 level. The hiking location can be changed due to weather or other circumstances.

Sauris

Day 3-4

3rd day: in Sauris we will experience nature on horseback. Riding along ancient roads lost in the woods or on green paths that go up to the pastures is an emotion that brings us back to a dimension of living that is soaked with an ancient flavor. There are also other activities we can do in this location: Canyoning and Ziplining.

Lake Cornino

Day 4

4th day: Visit Lake of Cornino, a small body of water that formed during the retreat of the ice that took place about 10,000 years ago, this lake is characterized by a particular transparency of its water, of a beautiful color green-blue.

San Daniele del Friuli

Day 4

San Daniele is the perfect weekend destination for lovers of prosciutto, history, culture, and Italian scenery. If you are into exploring local food then this place is just for you, the ham/prosciutto is famous around the world. I do not eat red meat, but I would love to show you around :D// if you do not into this, feel free to let me know, and we will pass it and change the itinerary. The trip finishes at 16-17, Please book your train accordingly.
