Trip Itinerary

Assuan
Day 1-2
We will pick you up from the hotel or from the airport. After breakfast to get to know each other we move to the boat, which will be our base for the next few days. Aswan is too beautiful to leave it right away. So we will have a day to discover and yes - we do a small tour by SUP around Elephantine Island, discover the tombs of the Nobles and see Aswan from above from the sanddunes at the Westbank and paddle into the sunset.

To Edfo City
Day 2-6
After breakfast onboard of our felucca we start paddling downstream. Day 2-5 we paddle and discover the life on the riverbanks or relax onboard and learn how to sail a felucca. We stop in villages and visit temples on the way, where the big cruiseships won't stop. Out boatcrew is Nubian and know the best places along the shore, we stop in little markets, villages and can see a camelmarket, where camels that made all the way from Sudan. We anchor on islands in the middle of the Nile and make campfires for the night. Highlights are chats with the fishermen in their boats who are always invite for a tea or to roam through temples and tombs off the touristpath like Gebel el-Silsila hidden in the reeds 60km north of Aswan. Trust your luck and the guards will unlock hidden tombs. Once we arrive in Edfo we have shuttleservice to Luxor- where we stay in little

Luxor
Day 6-7
You can get a massage or relax at the pool- but honestly Luxor must be discovered! We will have bicycles to cruise around and to see the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hapchetsut temple and the Luxor and Karnak temple. Once you get tired you can paddle to the other shore and stroll over the market or just relax in one of the many Nilecafe.
