Guided trip
Sardinia is probably the most beautiful Island of the Mediterranean Sea. Politically belonging to Italy, the People of Sardinia are seeking for independence, wich take a big part in their social history. The History of the Island dates back until 800 b.c. and there are a lot of historical and archaeological places all over the Island, silent witnesses of the Island being occupied by lots of different cultures over the years. Flora and fauna are pretty unique. There are a lot of endemic Plants and animals on the Island and with a bit of luck and patients it will be possible to see some of them. If you love nature, want to have an active trip with some sports and hopefully spotting some wild animals, but also connect to some locals and learn about the History of Sardinia, you are more then welcome to join!

Alghero

Day 1-3
First day of our Sardinian Adventure. Meeting in the seaside town of Alghero, including a walk through the small but beautiful historical center. If time allows it we take our Rental car and head over to Capo Caccia, a beautiful peninsula, where you can hike and have stunning views over the sea. There is also the Grotta Nettuno, wich you can visit for about 15€ The night we'll spend in a B&B or Apartment near the City Center.
2

Santa Teresa Gallura

Day 3-4
After we had Breakfast we head in the direction of Santa Teresa Gallura. On the way we have some possibilities to stop like Castelsardo, a very nice Town wich is build into the Cliffs, or Casteldoria wich has thermal waters right in a river. It's easy to reach and free. The actual highlight is Capo Testa. Valle della Luna is one of my favourite place of the whole island. From where we park the car its an easy 30 minute walk into the Valley. it has unique stone formations and another thing that is very special about the place is that there are people living in caves. The night we spend in Santa Teresa Galleria in an B&B or Apartment.
3

Cala Gonone

Day 4-5
Today we're going to sea! We rent Kayaks and enter the water in Cala Gonone. From there we can reach a lot of Grottoes and beaches that or only accessible by boat. The Kayaks, Paddles and all safety equipment including dry bags etc. will be provided for us by the rental store, direct on the beach. If you are into fishing, you are welcome to show your skills and catch us some dinner ;) After the cruise, we head to the beautiful town of Orgosolo where we spend the night.
4

Punta La Marmora

Day 5-6
Today we climb the highest peak of the Island! Punta la Marmora is 1834m high and there are different trails up. Depending on your physical level we will find the way that fits best. When the weather is good we will have great views and if we are really really lucky, we maybe see some Mouflon, who are nearly extinct in other parts of Europe. The night we will spend in Cagliari.
5

Cagliari

Day 6-7
This day we spend in the capital of the Island, Cagliari. There is a lot to do and see. The historical center, the small biosphere habitat near the beach where you can see a lot of flamingos, the harbour, if there is a match day you can visit a game of Cagliari Calcio,...
6

Marina di Gutturu Flumini

Day 7-8
Welcome to the Wild West! Costa Verde is the wildest coast in Sardinia and there are different ways to reach it. the fastest and most adventurous way is to come from south, pass Le Dune, cross two rivers and head to the beach, wich is so long and big that it's always empty, even in august. If you want we can put up our tents and sleep on the beach, or we head back to Guspini and sty there. On the way to Costa Verde we can visit many places like the old mining town of Villagio Asproni or the white Nurage.
7

Giara di Gesturi

Day 8-9
Do you like horses? Cause today we visit Giara di Gesturi, a plateau on about 800m with the last wild Sardinian Horses. This species is pretty small and for their own protection they life in big sanctuary. They are more or less used to humans so they don't run away when they spot you and you can come pretty close. The night we will spent in Macomer.
8

Alghero

Day 9-10
On our last day we take at the Sardinian history. Close to Macomer, there is a valley with lots of Nuraghe. The Nuraghe is the main type of ancient megalithic edifice found in Sardinia, developed during the Nuragic Age between 1900 and 730 B.C.[2] Today it has come to be the symbol of Sardinia and its distinctive culture known as the Nuragic civilization. More than 7,000 nuraghes have been found, though archeologists believe that originally there were more than 10,000 After visiting the Valley our Tour around the Island comes to an End as we head back to Alghero.
