From 29 October to 1 November, I'm looking for a TripMate to stay with me in a bungalow off Semporna. I'll know two or three guests in the adjacent bungalows, but I won't be hanging out with them 24/7. There is an option to join some boat trips to other beaches or go snorkeling. My friend and her family have already booked a boat trip, and it'll be easy to tag along with them.

About me: My name is Bea! I love the outdoors. I like spending time in the water, the snow and everything in-between. There's always something new to see. I never get tired of being in awe with the beauty of planet earth! I'm going to spend a total of the weeks in Bornéo, primarily to go scuba diving again. The trip to the stilted bungalows will be my first leg. After 1 November, I'm heading to KK. Whether or not I'll be scuba diving during the stay in the stilted bungalows depends on how accessible it is. The area will be great for snorkeling too, I believe.

Accommodation: The bungalows are run by Starz Water Village (you can find them on Google Maps). The bungalows are in the area of Kampung Bumbum. I'm expecting the area will be great for snorkeling, with beautiful aquatic wildlife. Food is included in the package. We'll be sharing a room; for this reason, I'm looking for a female TripMate. Tawau

Day 1

I'm going to arrive at Tawau airport on 29 October around 4:30 pm. The bungalow managers will arrange the transport to Bumbum village, from where we can take the boat to the bungalows. The journey is going to take 2-3 h I believe.

Pulau Nusa Kuya

Day 1-4

I booked this trip when I learned a friend from KL is going there. She is going there with her extended family. They speak Malay (and I hardly speak any). I'm expecting to be spending lazy days swimming and relaxing 😎

Semporna

Day 4

After staying three nights in the stilted bungalows, we're returning by boat to Semporna. My next stop is going to be KK, but I haven't decided whether I'm going there by coach or airplane. There is an option to hitch a ride to Tawau from Semporna.
