Trip Itinerary

Barranco
Day 1-2
Tonight we will kick off! After a welcome briefing, we will go for dinner at an amazing local venue and later explore Barranco's neighborhood bars. If arriving earlier in Lima, let us know: we can provide any info you may need to get it all nicely organized.

Paracas
Day 2-3
After an early morning bus ride, we'll get to Paracas. We will explore the National Reserve with its spectacular sceneries, and enjoy a couple of beautiful beaches. Lots to see, and time to relax by the Pacific. By the way, our hotel location is amazing!

Huacachina
Day 3-4
After a morning boat tour of the Ballestas Islands, we'll head south towards Huacachina. A local lunch spirited with Pisco, and included boogie ride over the dunes, add up to a great funny day! Huacachina hotel features a lovely swimming pool and also tonight is a great chance to go out and enjoy the lively local vibe. 🍸🍻💃🏻

Nazca
Day 4-5
The first day is about going through the Ica region: grabbing delicious local food along the way, exploring for Geoglyphs, and meeting the Nazca culture. Oh, this hotel, you'll love it. The second day: huge pre-incan site to explore + more fun buggy times and a delicious included meal that will blow your mind. Overall: yep, more Pisco moments to treasure!

Arequipa
Day 5-8
The 5th night takes place on a luxury night bus, which helps us to gain time. The following early morning we arrive at Arequipa City. We will take it easy in the morning, and then explore around the city's gorgeous downtown. Santa Catalina Convent and Juanita Mummy Museum are included. On day 2 in Arequipa, we go for a safe but very fun river rafting morning. To wrap up the day, an amazing lunch at a local Picantería restaurant. Chances here to hit the dance floor, just saying!

Yanque
Day 8-9
We are going high! Towards the Colca Canyon, but taking an alternative route. This is the land of the Alpaca farmers, the vicuñas, Andean highland massive landscapes, caveman remains, and other-planet-like views. Our hotel is located in gorgeous Yanque town, with amazing views of the Colca area. Altitude is attitude!

Sibayo District
Day 9-11
Early morning wake to go, down the valley towards the breathtaking views of the Colca Canyon. Condor spotting time! We will also go hiking, and to catch our breath we have included a visit to the delicious nearby hot springs. In the afternoon, we take a different way: up the valley, towards the traditional town of Sibayo. Here we will spend two nights, taking things slowly and learning the real Andean lifeways. And their home food, for God's sake!

Espinar
Day 11-12
We say goodbye to our lovely Sibayo friends and we embark on a day of adventure! We will be cutting our way through the Andes like the ancient people do, taking a route that not so many goes by nowadays. Exploring Incan sites with pretty much no one around and picturesque spots to die for will be part of this day. Woo, what a life!

Raqchi Archaeological Park
Day 12-13
Today we continue our way north, towards the ancient capital of the Incas. As we do so, we get to learn about the history that made them possible. First thing in the morning, we visit K'anamarka, which some people call "the other Machu Picchu". This is an amazing Pre-Incan site that extends over a huge area featuring remarkable architecture. The journey will continue through spectacular natural sceneries of the southern Cusco region. In the afternoon we arrive at Raqchi, for our last local homestay night. But before wrapping up, we will hike through real Incan Trails into one of the most beautiful Incan sites there is. And yes, we will hit the dance floor again, but now in a different way!

Checacupe
Day 13-14
We are taking advantage of our location to embark on the visit for an area's highlight: hiking through the red mountain range towards Rainbow Mountain! All the previous days on altitude will have allowed us to feel prepared to hit it hard with no problem. On the way back, a chance to visit the fantastic textile artists of Pitumarka. Tonight we stay at a typical local farmhouse another of those hotels you'll love!

Cusco
Day 14-16
This is our final ride together: towards Cusco, the ancient capital of the Incan Empire, and a contemporary lively Peruvian city. As we arrive on the first day we will do an introduction to the city and allow room to explore on your own. On our second day, we will take the way of its ancient inhabitants, putting ourselves on original Incan trails and participating in an Andean ritual offering. Time to say thanks and celebrate!
