What's special?
special Northern Lights
special Glass Igloo
Welcome to a journey through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world. This carefully curated trip will take you from the vibrant cities of Helsinki and Stockholm to the Arctic wilderness, where you’ll have the chance to witness the awe-inspiring Northern Lights. Northern Lights The Aurora Borealis, commonly known as the Northern Lights, is a natural light display caused by the collision of solar wind and magnetic particles in the Earth's atmosphere. This phenomenon creates stunning displays of dancing lights in the sky, ranging from green to pink and purple. Viewing the Northern Lights is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but it’s important to note that it’s also dependent on weather conditions. To maximise your chances of seeing this spectacular display, our itinerary includes four nights dedicated to Northern Lights viewing across different locations in Finland and Sweden. Igloo Experience The highlight of our trip is a night spent in a Glass Igloo at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort. Imagine lying in a cozy igloo, surrounded by snow-covered landscapes, with the Northern Lights swirling above you. This experience is not just about luxury—it’s about connecting with the Arctic wilderness in the most intimate and unforgettable way. The igloo’s glass ceiling offers a panoramic view of the sky, making it the perfect place to watch the Aurora Borealis from the comfort of your bed. This trip isn’t just about seeing the Northern Lights—it’s about experiencing the magic of the Arctic in a way that few others have. From the culture and history of Helsinki and Stockholm to the remote beauty of Rovaniemi and Kiruna, this journey will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

I'm Prashamsa, a passionate travel enthusiast, and I’m thrilled to share more details about this unique adventure that I've curated in collaboration with experienced local guides who have deep knowledge of the region. Why This Trip is Different: This trip is all about traveling with a small group of like-minded adventurers who are keen on exploring, making memories, and truly indulging in the experience. Unlike typical pre-packaged tours, where everything is controlled and planned to the minute, our journey is about embracing the unexpected. We’ll interact with locals, try new foods, stay in vibrant hostels, and make impromptu decisions that add to the thrill of discovery. What’s Included: Accommodation & Transfers: We’ll be staying in top-rated hostels that are perfect for meeting new people and sharing experiences. All intercity transfers are covered, so you won’t need to worry about getting from one amazing location to the next. For intracity travel, we’ll be using local transport—it’s more cost-effective and adds to the authentic experience. Experiences: The itinerary includes some pre-booked day tours and unforgettable Northern Lights experiences. However, we aim to keep things flexible, favoring free tours and self-exploration whenever possible. This approach not only helps with budgeting but also lets us immerse ourselves more fully in the culture. A Small, Curated Group: We’re keeping the group size to just 10 people to ensure a safe and personalized experience. Each participant will be carefully evaluated—I'll be discussing the nature of the trip with everyone to make sure it’s the right fit for all parties involved. The goal is to create a diverse mix of genders, backgrounds, and personalities, ensuring a fun and dynamic group dynamic.

We’ll be staying in top-rated hostels that are perfect for meeting new people and sharing experiences. We have not included meals in any of the accommodations and we will be trying out different local food options & cook meals at the hostel. On one of the days, we'll be staying at the kakslauttanen arctic resort and if we are lucky, we can experience sleeping under the northern lights Any questions about the trip? You can let me know in the Q&A section!
