Guided trip
Mexico is one of the hottest destinations among tourists, what with its secret island escapes, Caribbean coastline and cosmopolitan capital city, as well as its thriving restaurant scene and quirky colonial towns. Mexico is a country of delicious food, the culinary scene from north to south varies wildly, although each dish remains just as delicious as the last. Whether you want carne asada or cabrito, seafood or Mayan delicacies in the Yucatán Peninsula, one thing’s for sure – you’ll never be short of options. If there’s one thing everyone will agree on about Mexico, it’s that the locals are warm, welcoming and always willing to help. So, don’t believe everything the popular press tells you about Mexico’s ‘bad hombres’. It’s no great secret that Mexico is a pretty affordable destination for most travellers coming from further afield travellers from both the US and the UK can really benefit. It’s clear that most travellers visiting the country are split between those wanting to lounge on the beach and those wanting to explore the cities and colonial towns. We have to mention the world class conditions of Mexico’s beaches, like the crystalline seas of Cancún. The country are dotted with numerous world-class archaeological sites like Chichén Itzá and the museums can give you an in-depth introduction to the history of Mexico. ______________________________________ What's included: - 7 days and 6 nights on a Private Condo with your own single bed (bunk) storage locker, pool, main living area, outdoor dining area, dining table, kitchen, private balcony, WiFi, a/c, pool, amazing eateries right out of your front door and 10 minute walk to the beach access. * Xcaret: Access to Plus Area facilities (dressing rooms, restrooms and lockers) Access to the beach, inlet and natural pools, Butterfly Pavilion, Coral Reef Aquarium and the Aviary. Playa del Carmen

Day 1
On Day 1 We'll get settled and get some rest 🥱 from our flight 🛫. Later on we'll head to the beach and relax in the sand contemplating the blue ocean 🌊 in front of us. Near us is the Founder's Park Portal, a tribute to the founders of the town, who according to the legend, had to emigrate to another place because their "palapas" (rustic cabins) were knocked down by hurricanes 🌬️ winds. Currently, this square is the scene of civic acts and musical and folklore shows, if we're lucky we can watch some Voladores de Papantla. Once the night comes we'll have some dinner 😋🌮

Quinta avenida

Day 1-2
(Walking distance from our staying) Fifth Avenue is the circulatory ♻️ system of Playa del Carmen. Meet with me everything it can offer you through its 4 kilometers long adventure.🚶🏽‍♂️Walk, stop for a few minutes, look at a store 🕵🏽‍♂️ detail a craft, a piece of jewelry 💍, and start walking again, taking a mental note 📝 of that place that you may have to go to later to make a purchase. Breathe in 🫁 the fresh, Caribbean-scented🍃afternoon air, while you feel new blood circulating 🫀 through your body, invigorated by the walk and by the delight of being in Playa del Carmen🌴 On Fifth Avenue we'll go to a traditional façade reminiscent of the old "big houses" of Mexican haciendas 🏯 were you can participate in a tequila tasting. Playa del Carmen offers products from all over Mexico 🇲🇽 and Fifth Avenue is a small sampler of the entire country, here we can find cocoa 🍫 which is tied to Mexico's past more than any other country in the world. The Mexican pre-Hispanic indigenous people used their seeds as currency💵. It was also held as an aphrodisiac 🤫. The Aztec emperor Moctezuma drank up to 40 cups of cocoa a day in order to satisfy his harem 😉 Mexico also has pre-Columbian peoples and cultures that have passed down their art 🎨 from generation 👨‍👩‍👧 to generation👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. On Fifth Avenue it is possible to find beautiful handicrafts made of vegetable fibers, stones 🪨, ceramics🏺, wood🪵, bone 🦴, skins, threads, silver 🥈textiles 🧣 and any material that the hands of man can turn into an artistic piece. And to close with a flourish this day let's enjoy a delicious dinner 🍽️ in a junglelike terrace (Vegetarian/vegan options are offered ) 🥦
