You will have the rest of the day to either rest and prepare for your safari adventure which begins tomorrow or depending on your time of arrival, you may have the opportunity to for ice skating, movie, or wine around the hotel.

Maasai Mara National Reserve
Day 2-4
After breakfast, we will leave for Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch where you'll be greeted with sweeping views of the savannah. After lunch we will embark on our first game drive in Maasai Mara to spot the Big Five and other wildlife in the late evening. The following day offers a full day to immerse in the wonders of Maasai Mara as we begin the day with an early morning game drive, aiming to capture the golden light of sunrise and perhaps witness predators on the hunt. Return to your lodge or camp for breakfast. Later, we will consider an optional visit to the Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions at an extra cost. Your lunch will be at the camp, followed by a leisurely afternoon. Head out on an afternoon game drive to explore different parts of Maasai Mara as we may also go for a hot air balloon experience at an extra cost. As the sun sets, enjoy the last evening in the reserve, and return to our accommodation for a farewell dinner, reminiscing about the remarkable wildlife encounters you've had during your safari.
3
Lake Naivasha
Day 4-5
Depart from Maasai Mara after an early breakfast for a drive to Lake Naivasha. It is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes and with water fresh, the lake is fringed with dense clumps of papyrus (ancient Egyptians once used this to make paper). Kingfishers use the papyrus as a perch, and herons hide in it while searching for food. Upon arrival, we will have lunch and go on a boat ride experience around the lake. Naivasha is yet another area popular for bird watching (over 400 species have been recorded). It is also a favorite weekend retreat for Nairobi residents, who go to sail, water ski, and fish. There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are several hippos. Along the lakeshore, vineyards produce grapes for the country's fledgling wine industry.
