I am Yara, an Architect, and researcher. I Am passionate about traveling and I’ve been exploring new cultures for the past 4 years. I love hiking, trekking, and meeting other open-minded travelers. In 2021 I completed the Everest Base Camp trek and it was one of the most beautiful experiences I ever had. During this trip, I would love to welcome you to my beautiful country and give you a memorable experience. We will be visiting many cities and mountain villages as well as exploring some easy-to-moderate hiking trails, and of course, this includes a lot of Yummy FOOD! At night we can go for drinks and enjoy the Lebanese nightlife vibes. This trip has a lot of options and various destinations that suit all tastes. Our trip starts from Beirut where we will be visiting many neighborhoods and famous streets and landmarks. In the next few days, we will be visiting coastal cities: Jeita, Jounieh, Byblos, Batroun, Anfeh, Tripoli, Sidon, and Tyr. During the weekend we will go to the mountain villages and enjoy the breathtaking views from old cedar forests and natural reserves. And last but not least, we will make our way to Baalbeck, also called the city of the Sun, home of two of the largest and grandest Roman temple ruins: the Temple of Bacchus and the Temple of Jupiter. There’s always room to explore more!! What’s included? * Booking and logistics * Accommodation: We will be staying in a Beiruti Apartment - A shared bedroom. A Price Bedroom is also available with an additional fee * Transportation in my own car: From the apartment to our destinations mentioned in the itinerary and back. * One hike with a local guide: to be selected based on the group level and preferences. It also includes transportation by car and/or Bus * Breakfast: a Lebanese breakfast that includes a selection of one item among various options with one beverage: Milk or tea or coffee. * Travel insurance if you are a resident of Germany or Austria What’s not included? * Lunch, dinners, snacks, and Drinks (all meals other than the selected breakfast mentioned in the “What’s included” section) * Extra activities/free time activities//monuments entrances/Souvenirs * Telefrique Ticket * Travel insurance if you are not a resident of Germany or Austria * Additional transport during free time is not mentioned in the itinerary * Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged for an extra fee * Flight tickets Visa and travel insurance: Please check visa and passport requirements prior to confirming this trip and any additional forms that you might need to fill Insurance: Travel insurance is included if you are a resident of Germany or Austria. Beirut

Day 1-2
Day 1: Arrival in Beirut and meet at the accommodation to settle and rest. In the evening we walk in the vibrant neighborhood and gather for dinner to get to know each other. Details of the accommodation will be shared at a later stage.

Hamra

Day 2-3
Bienvenue a Beirut! Explore Beirut by car and Foot. We will be starting from Gemmayze to downtown, and then Hamra. After a tasty Lebanese lunch, we can stop and enjoy the breathtaking sunset view from Ain El Mraysseh and the famous Raoucheh (Pigeon Rocks). In the evening, we can choose between Mar Mkhayel or Badaro to have some drinks - pub hopping style.

Tripoli

Day 3-4
Day 3: Let the fun begin! We will be heading from Beirut to Tripoli, known as the capital of the north, and walk the old souks to reach the Citadel, The Citadel of Raymond de Saint-Gilles or Qala'at Sanjil. The city is very rich in historical monuments and Hammams in addition to local traditional crafts such as traditional soap making, jewelry, carpentry, and many more. After that, we will be going to Anfeh where we can have lunch by the sea and then go to explore Batroun: a treasure trove of Phoenician, Roman, and Byzantine history. Finally, we will stop at Byblos, one of the oldest Phoenician cities, where we can have Dinner and Drinks in the famous old souk. Each and every destination is unique and has its own magic and rich history.

Jounieh

Day 4-5
Day 4: A day to Visit Jeita Grotto and then head up to the mountains (Feytroun and Faraya). We will be selecting the destination/Activity during the day based on the group preference. In the afternoon/evening, we can take the teleferique and go up to Harissa and then go back and have a tasty dinner by the sea in Jounieh and explore its local pubs, then go back to Beirut.

Tyre

Day 5-6
Day 5: Archeology and Beach Combined on this day! We will go from Beirut to Sidon and then reach Tyr. This city has a beautiful public beach, historical monuments, and old souks. We can choose to stay there for Dinner and then go back to Beirut. the road is going to take around 2 hours one way.

Baalbek

Day 6-7
Day 6: The City of the Sun Day! We will be going to Baalbeck where we will be visiting the Roman temple ruins and then go back to Beirut. the road is going to take around 2 to 3 hours one way. At night we can choose to rest or go out clubbing or pub hopping.

Tannourine Cedar Reserve محمية أرز تنورين

Day 7-8
Day 7: It’s time for Nature and the Old Cedars! We have a lot of route options on this day :). We will be picking together our hike based on your preferences. one of the options would be the following: Go from Beirut to Bcharre, visit the old cedars Forest, Hike in Qadisha Valley, and then pass by Tannourine Cedars reserve and then head back to Beirut

Day 8
Day 8: Departure Day from Beirut, leaving with a lot of good memories and hoping to meet again in future trips and countries. Airport Drop off is optional and will be available for an extra fee I am very excited to meet you!!
