In Cape Town, we live in the popular "Green Point" district, which is known for its parks and chic restaurants. Our house is within easy reach of the Sea Point Promenade, the V&A Waterfront and the city center. We have the entire house to ourselves and have 3 apartments with similar facilities. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. On our roof terrace we have a phenomenal infinity pool, from which you can look directly onto the coast. The barbecue and the cozy lounge invite you to relaxed remotepunks evenings. South Africa experiences regular power cuts, which can affect the availability of electricity and the stability of the internet for several hours a day. MiFi devices and local SIM cards are available as a backup. We have generators in our accommodation to bridge the power cuts. In total we will be a 16-person group. Co-working and laptop work are of course the main focus, but the surrounding activities, such as socializing, cooking together, surfing, sightseeing trips, parties, etc., make the place feel like home. make the place feel like home. And as always, "everything can, nothing has to"! We will be a diverse group (employed, self-employed, newly founded, etc.). There will be a balanced gender ratio and we all share values such as respectful interaction, which makes us a harmonious community and we can experience a lot:) No matter what job you do, we can all learn so much from each other and it will take us a long way in our digital endeavors! :) Single rooms and shared rooms (2 people per room) are available. This advertisement refers to a single room, (the shared rooms with 2 people per room cost less and can be found in the other advertisement) Each of us works on his/her own project and takes as much time as he/she needs. Whether it's an employment relationship from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., whether it's a start-up company that's just being set up, whether it's a non-profit project or whether you're writing a book. Whatever you're working on, take all the time in the world. If you want to chill out, no problem, you have your room and can retreat. Want to cook something with a couple of flatmates to relax? No problem, there are always hungry flatmates. Or would you like to try out the nearby yoga class with locals? You're guaranteed to find someone here who would love to join you. Live your usual life, just like in a shared flat. The only difference is that the flat share is not a typical student flat share in a residential building, but an incredible villa with fantastic flatmates. Your new flatmates will quickly become a family and a close-knit group who will support you with your crazy ideas, take you on adventures at 3 a.m. and help you with your job. We value the time we spend together in one place and want to get to know the local culture and people as much as possible.
