Once we've settled into the hotel, our plan is to head over to Taksim Square. The main theme of the day will revolve around the issues of corruption and conflict in Istanbul, specifically delving into the protests that broke out during the summer of 2013 related to the redevelopment proposals for a park near Taksim Square.

After breakfast, embark on a guided walk through Galata, visiting notable landmarks such as an Italian church, a Sephardic Synagogue, Genoese administrative buildings, the Jewish museum, old workplaces, and the fish market. Enjoy a delightful lunch at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, an optional guided walk through Istanbul covers iconic landmarks like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the Grand Bazaar, the spice market, and the Yeni Mosque.
