We will meet in Milazzo in the early morning of the 8th of October. From there we will take a ferry to the first Island. Here is how to get to Milazzo: You can either fly to Catania or Palermo, whatever is cheaper for you. From both of these cities, you can take a train to Milazzo. The train ride is very scenic! Palermo - Milazzo: ~2h 30min, 11-12 Euros, Bus or Train Catania - Milazzo: ~3h 15min, 9 Euros Train, 38 Euros Bus Milazzo is a beautiful town - you can see both sunrise and sunset there: when you are at a certain point you can see the ocean at both ends of the street you are on! You might want to arrive a day early and just walk around town. You can even see the smoke from the volcano Etna sometimes.

Vulcano
Day 8
The island Vulcano has a lot to offer. There is an epic volcano crater that you can hike up to and walk around with a beautiful view. From the top you are able to not only overlook the whole island but you can even see the neighbor island Lipari. If you prefer to just relax, you can soak in the thermal water of mud baths. Because of the thermic activities of the volcano, you will sometimes even see bubbles rising to the surface in the ocean. There are many ways to discover the island: vehicles such as bicycles, kayaks, quads, Mini-Mokes are available for rent.

Lipari
Day 8
Lipari is the closest neighbor island of Vulcano and only a short ferry ride away. The area in which the beautiful Castle of Lipari is located was inhabited as early as 6000 years ago. Both the Castle and the Marina Corta look like an outdoor museum and invite visitors to take a stroll through the historical town.
4
Stromboli
Day 8
Stromboli is the name of the island as well as the name of the volcano that it consists of. It is a highly active volcano that has small eruptions regularly, you can see it every hour! How amazing is that?! You can either walk to a platform halfway to the top and watch lava running down the volcano or book a guided tour and hike all the way to the top. ItΒ΄s a once-in-a-lifetime-experience for sure!! Furthermore, there is also the option to book a boat tour at night; this way you get to see the volcano erupting from a distance from the ocean.
5
Vico Salina
Day 8
With its three towns, Santa Marina, Malfa and Leni, it is the second largest Aeolian island, with little more than 2,300 inhabitants. Olive groves, caper bushes, lush, fig and citrus trees. Hereβs Salina, an island that can make your eyes and taste buds burst from the rapture with the sweetest and most savory delicacies of nature.
