Bogotá

Day 1-3
Day 1- Arrive at El Dorado International Airport and transfer to a charming 19th-century house in the heart of Bogotá. Begin your adventure with a visit to Monserrate, accessible by funicular, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Colombia's capital from 3,100 meters above sea level. Explore La Candelaria, the historic district where Santa Fe de Bogotá was founded. Wander through the main square, cozy coffee shops, and artisanal boutiques, soaking in the dynamic city life and uncovering Bogotá's rich heritage. Enjoy a traditional Canelazo, a local drink, to complete your day. Day 2- After breakfast at the hotel, visit La Catedral Primada and the Palacio de Justicia, significant for its historical events of 1985. Located on the north side of Plaza de Bolívar, the Palacio de Justicia faces the Congress and is close to the Casa de Nariño, the presidential residence. Next, explore the Botero Museum, housing important works by the renowned artist, and the Gold Museum, home to a significant collection of indigenous artifacts. Visit to the Emerald shops and experience the vibrant life of Colombia in the heart of the city.

Finca Summerland

Day 3-4
Day 3- Following breakfast, travel to Finca Summerland, a picturesque farm in a lush forest. Here, immerse yourself in the daily life of Colombian campesinos and learn about traditional gastronomy through hands-on experiences in a typical Colombian farm with rivers and waterfalls.

Bogotá

Day 4-5
Day 4- Return to Bogotá and explore the northern part of the city, contrasting with the center and south. Discover the modern lifestyle and vibrant nightlife by visiting a traditional rumba and food venue, experiencing Bogotá's energetic atmosphere.

Santa Marta

Day 5
Day 5- Fly to Santa Marta, located on the Caribbean Coast, where nature meets the sea. Founded by Spanish conqueror Rodrigo Bastidas in 1525, Santa Marta is one of Colombia's oldest cities. Stroll through its colonial architecture and visit the Tayrona Museum to learn about the indigenous communities of the Sierra Nevada. Visit La Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, the place where Simón Bolívar, Colombia's liberator from Spanish rule, died. After a cultural immersion, proceed to Palomino in Dibulla (La Guajira).

Palomino

Day 5-7
Day 5- We will continue to Palomino where you will have the opportunity to visit the Wayuu community, the largest indigenous population in Colombia. Immerse in their culture and traditions while relaxing in this paradisiacal place where lush nature meets crystalline rivers and the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Minca

Day 7-8
Day 6 - Start your day with a typical Caribbean breakfast and continue to Parque Tayrona and the archaeological zone of Pueblito, where you'll discover the remnants of the ancient Tayrona civilization. Relax on the stunning beaches of Cabo San Juan and Playa de Arrecifes. After a relaxing afternoon continue to Finca Minca, where the Sierra Nevada coffee is produced. We will discover how campesinos produce this coffee quality.

Barranquilla

Day 8
Day 8- After breakfast, spend a few relaxing hours at the lodge before continuing to Barranquilla and Cartagena for the most colorful days of the trip. En route to Cartagena, stop at the Port of Barranquilla, a city rich in history and known for its multicultural atmosphere. Barranquilla is famous for its vibrant Carnival, showcasing the best of Colombian music and folklore. Enjoy a meal at one of the popular local restaurants to taste typical food as the traditional “arroz con coco”,

Cartagena

Day 8-10
Upon arrival in Cartagena, take a walk through the walled city and enjoy views of the historic fortifications. Stay in a charming hotel in the traditional area of Getsemani. Day 9- Spend a full day exploring Cartagena, one of the most beautiful cities in the Caribbean. This historic city, dating back to the 16th century, features beautiful parks, squares, narrow streets, and colonial houses. Discover why it is said that Colombians are the happiest people in the world and its vibrant culture. Don’t miss the chance to experience the local rumba and learn some salsa steps and moves. Day 10- Enjoy a free day in Cartagena before the end of the trip. Take this time to explore more of the city or relax before your departure.
