Day 1-2
Arrive in Reykjavik, Iceland's capital city After meet up at the accommodation and drop our bags we can start exploring the highlights of Reykjavík, including Hallgrímskirkja Church, Harpa Concert Hall, and the vibrant streets of the city center. Visit the iconic Sun Voyager sculpture and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. Optionally, explore some of Reykjavík's museums, such as the National Museum of Iceland or the Reykjavík Art Museum. In the evening, indulge in a delicious Icelandic meal at one of Reykjavík's acclaimed restaurants.

Thingvellir National Park
Day 2-3
Depart from Reykjavík and drive the Golden Circle route. Visit the historical site of Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament was established in 930 AD. Explore the geothermal area of Geysir, home to the famous Strokkur geyser that erupts every few minutes. Marvel at the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland's most impressive natural wonders. Overnight stay in the Golden Circle area.

Kerid Crater
Day 3-4
Drive to Kerið Crater, a stunning volcanic crater lake surrounded by vibrant red volcanic rock. Take a leisurely walk around the crater rim or descend to the lake shore for a closer look. Continue to the Secret Lagoon, a natural hot spring located in the geothermal village of Flúðir. Relax and soak in the warm waters, surrounded by Iceland's serene countryside. Day 4-5
Depart from the Golden Circle and head towards the South Coast. Stop at Gljúfrabúi Waterfall, a hidden gem nestled in a narrow canyon, often overshadowed by its famous neighbor, Seljalandsfoss. Continue to the charming village of Vík, known for its black sand beaches and dramatic coastal cliffs. Explore Reynisfjara Beach and its iconic basalt sea stacks, Reynisdrangar. Day 5-6
Spend the day further exploring the wonders of Reynisfjara Beach and its surroundings. Hike to the top of Dyrhólaey Promontory for panoramic views of the coastline and the impressive rock formations. Visit nearby attractions such as the Dyrhólaey Lighthouse and the Sólheimasandur Plane Wreck. Enjoy leisure time on the beach, soaking in the atmosphere of this unique and captivating landscape. Overnight stay in Vík or nearby.

Fjaðrárgljúfur
Day 6-7
Depart from Vík and drive to the base of Mýrdalsjökull glacier, where the Katla Ice Cave is located. Embark on a guided tour of the ice cave, marveling at its dazzling blue ice formations and intricate tunnels. Learn about the geology and history of the glacier from knowledgeable local guides. After the tour, return to Reykjavík, concluding your self-drive adventure with unforgettable memories of Iceland's natural wonders.
