Hampi
Day 1-3
Day 1: Anegundi Sightseeing Reach Hampi in the morning. Usually all travellers get down at Hospet so I will arrange a pick up from there by A/C Cab to our Hotel. We will then freshen up, relax & have introduction session so that we know each other & are comfortable. Later we will start exploring Anegundi by A/C Cab & will indulge in the exotic allure of South Indian cuisine, where aromatic spices & vibrant flavors dance on your taste buds. Also chinese, italian & continental cuisines are available since there are large number foreigners exploring this place. After the sightseeing points we can just chill out experiencing the local streets & the culture. Also for dinner we can taste the lip smacking local cuisine along with continental & italian cuisine. The places which we will be covering are: - Anjaneya hills - Durga devi temple - Anegundi fort - Gagan mahal Feel free to add any suggestions. We may get free meal (lunch) as prasad at Durga devi temple if we reach by the lunch time. Night stay in Hampi. Day 2: Hampi Sightseeing After our breakfast, we will have full day excursion to Hampi which offers a chance to explore the rich historical and architectural heritage of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its going to be a little hectic day as we are going to explore most of the places & need to walk a bit. So be all geared up for this wonderful village tour. We will have scrumptious meals on the way experiencing the local culture & traditions. Places which we will be exploring are: - Virupaksha temple - Hemakuta hill & temple - Shri Lakshmi Narsimha temple - Badavilinga temple (3m height linga) - Shri Krishna swami temple & step well - Achyutaraya temple - Underground Shiva Temple - Haazara Rama temple - Lotus Mahal - Watch Tower - Elephant stable - Mahaanavmi dibba - Underground secret chamber - Hale Kalyani stepwell - Queens Bath house - Octagonal bath - Vitthala temple - Musical pillar, stone chariot - King's Balance We will also take the coracle ride on the way (optional). Day 3-4
Day 3: Hampi - Badami - Bijapur We will leave early in the morning as we have to step into a timeless tapestry of art and history, where ancient whispers echo through the stones. Discover the mesmerizing trinity of Aihole, Pattadakal, and Badami β an awe-inspiring journey into the heart of India's architectural prowess. 1. Hampi - Aihole (3.5 hrs) Aihole, the cradle of stone architecture, is a canvas where dreams of temples and sculptures came to life over centuries. Each structure tells a tale, a symphony of creativity that shaped the very essence of Indian craftsmanship. Places to explore in Aihole: - Ravanaphadi cave temple (oldest rock cut cave temple in Aihole) - Durga temple complex - Galaganatha temple complex 2. Aihole - Pattadakal (20 mins) Pattadakal, the crown jewel in this trio, stands as a tribute to harmony. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it's a dance of temples where diverse styles entwine β an ode to the confluence of cultures and beliefs that define India. Places to explore: - Pattadakal temple complex 3. Pattadakal - Badami (40 mins) Badami, the rocky playground of gods and architects, hosts cave temples that defy the ordinary. Carved into the rugged hills, these sanctuaries exude an ethereal aura, inviting all to ponder the devotion and skill that carved divinity into stone. Places to explore: - Badami Cave temple - Shri Bhootanatha temple 4. Badami - Bijapur (3 hrs) Having soaked in the ancient wonders of Aihole, marveled at the beauty of Badami, and reveled in the magnificence of Pattadakal, our journey now dances forward to the captivating city of Bijapur. Night stay in Bijapur.

Day 4
Day 4: Bijapur After having palatable breakfast we will explore Bijapur city thoroughly by A/C Cab Bijapur's history dates back to ancient times, with roots in the Chalukya dynasty. However, Bijapur truly came into prominence during the rule of the Adil Shahi dynasty in the 15th and 16th centuries. The city's architecture is its most captivating feature. Magnificent monuments stand as witnesses to its glorious past, showcasing a blend of Indian and Islamic architectural styles. The Gol Gumbaz, an iconic mausoleum, boasts the second-largest dome in the world and exceptional acoustic wonders. The Ibrahim Rauza, often called the 'Agra of the South,' is a masterpiece of Indo-Persian architecture, adorned with intricate carvings and lush gardens. Lets unveil India's Rich Heritage in Stone. Step into History's Embrace, Where Architectural Marvels Whisper Timeless Tales. Places to explore: - Gol Gumbaz - Jamiya Masjid - Ibrahim Roza - Mali-e-maidan cannon - Barah Kaman - Gagan Mahal We will head back to our Hotel, relax, freshen up, pack our bags & get ready. Together, we've conquered Bijapur's wonders, now let's weave our way back home, hearts brimming with cherished & memorable moments.
