12 days of pure unfiltered traveling joy. It's a road trip to discover the wonders of the Yucatan Peninsula. Many millions of years ago a meteorite crashed in this area , effectively wiping 90% of life on the planet at the time, but creating a very intricate flat land, home, much later, to an impressive ancient culture, the Maya. Located south-east of the country, inhabited by the inheritors of the Maya culture, this area is a natural wonder. Mostly flat but composed of diverse ecosystems that offer stunning views and eye-catching scenery all over. We will be exploring a good portion of it, allowing us to get a better sense of it all. Activities are optional, each of us chooses what they want to do. I'm providing a general layout. You can join me for the whole ride or if you have less days, that’s fine too. Just let me know so we can coordinate better.

Hi, I'm Victor. I've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty. . . Ok, not really, but I would like to tell you something about myself. I'm a tour guide. I've been one since 2016 and I like it a lot. Born and raised in Mexico City, I'm at my happiest wandering with good company. There's something about going on a journey with eager travelers waiting to discover the wonders of a foreign country that just hits the right spot. Not to mention being in the open, walking, tasting local food and beverages and of course, meeting lovely people like you. During my life journey I've learned languages, studied film, played rugby, conducted wine tastings, travelled extensively, trekked mountains, jumped off planes and into turquoise rivers, and many more but, I'm still not done.

Throughout the trip, we’ll be staying at 3-4 stars hotels, to keep the costs affordable. Shared rooms with double beds is what we will be staying at unless you prefer more privacy. Also, we will have little to no time to cook, so most of our food intake will be at local restaurants (street food for the win!). The Yucatan Peninsula is very rich and proud of its culture and traditions, so be ready to try out some new flavors. Everyone will pay for their food at the moment. Any questions about the trip? You can let me know in the Q&A section!
