Hello Ladies! I am an American expat who lives in Hanoi, Vietnam. My husband and I have traveled all over Vietnam and have first-hand knowledge of all of our destinations. With my experience, I have planned the perfect itinerary to enjoy every part of your trip stress-free! Relax and get ready to snorkel amidst limestone cliffs, wander beneath hundreds of lanterns, and ride through massive mountains studded with rice paddies. You will get the best Vietnam has to offer in less than two weeks! Things to Look Forward To: -4-5 star accommodation on the beach -local homestays for authentic experiences in the mountains -camping in a rice paddy (brand new experience!) -most comfortable transport options available -amazing Vietnamese food that won't get you sick -local guides when needed What I Expect from TripMates: -open mind to explore a different culture (Vietnam is very unique and I require you to respect the people here.) -flexible to changes (You just never know!) -willing to stay in homestays (This is not a backpacking trip. You will be comfortable and provided for, but you will have some nights in homestay communal spaces with curtains in between. And one night of life-changing tent camping!) -introvert or extrovert (You all have a place with me!) -responsible for yourself and the environment (We will be leaving places better than we found them.) -you know yourself (If you need personal space, take it! I know I do, so I will take time to wander the beach or read a book alone when needed.) -respect timelines (While there are plenty of opportunities for nightlife, cocktails, and beer (Bia in Vietnamese), I still expect you to respect the other travelers if we have to be somewhere the next morning ;).

Hello! I am Stephanie, or Roushes Abroad on the internet. I am so excited you are here. Seriously. I live in Vietnam and love sharing this place with everyone. I am a highly organized traveler who loves to share cultures and amazing places with others. I am an educator at heart, so if you have any questions about our trip, I will gladly explain the nuances of Vietnam. Otherwise, you will be free to explore, with plenty of opportunities for new adventures you can only get in Vietnam. Things I Love (and why I want to lead this trip): -teaching people what I know about cultures -leading and organizing details for people -meeting new people and taking care of them -showing off the things and places I love and sharing my excitement -blending travel with rest -pottery, well made items, and local artisans -nature and sweeping views -finding new things to explore and places to go that are not on google
