Trip Itinerary

Old Delhi
Day 1-2
We'll start our adventure in Old Delhi by visiting the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of India’s rich history. After exploring the fort, we'll walk to the Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. Next, we'll immerse ourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Chandni Chowk, where we can shop for traditional goods and savor local street food, such as parathas from Paranthe Wali Gali. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Spice Market (Khari Baoli) to experience the sights and smells of spices, herbs, and dried fruits. We'll conclude our day with a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, and enjoy a peaceful evening at India Gate, a war memorial that’s perfect for leisurely strolls.

New Delhi
Day 2-3
On Day 2, we'll delve into the landmarks of New Delhi. We'll begin our morning at Humayun’s Tomb, a stunning example of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there, we'll head to the Lotus Temple, known for its beautiful lotus-shaped structure and serene ambiance. Afterward, we'll explore the Qutub Minar, another UNESCO site, which is the tallest brick minaret in the world. In the afternoon, after lunch, we can also visit the nearby Hauz Khas Lake and the ruins of the ancient fort complex. We'll finish our day at Dilli Haat, an open-air market that showcases handicrafts and cuisines from different Indian states.

Agra
Day 3-4
We will embark on a journey to Agra, either in the early morning or at night on the second day, with a travel duration of around 3-4 hours. Our primary objective is to visit the world-renowned Taj Mahal, an architectural masterpiece and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We will also explore the Agra Fort, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to delve into its rich history and remarkable architecture. Once our exploration in Agra is complete, we will make our way back to Delhi.

Delhi
Day 4-5
On your final day, we'll explore more of New Delhi and Old Delhi. We'll start with a visit to the National Museum, where we can dive into India’s rich cultural heritage through its extensive collection of artifacts. Next, we'll head to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a beautiful Sikh temple known for its peaceful atmosphere and community kitchen (langar). We'll enjoy a leisurely lunch in Connaught Place, a bustling area filled with shops and restaurants. In the afternoon, we'll return to Old Delhi to explore the Rajpath and visit the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA). We'll conclude our trip with a visit to Sarojini Nagar Market, Delhi's famous shopping spree, known for its vibrant atmosphere and affordable fashion.
