Exploring Culture and Working in Tranquility Places of Jogja, Indonesia

DAY 1, Friday, 09/28/23: Arrival in Yogyakarta (No Meals) Pick up at Yogyakarta Train Station. Transfer to Hotel, check in process. Resting & free program. You can use the time to explore around the Hotel, where its located so strategies in Malioboro, city center of Yogyakarta.

DAY 2, Saturday, 09/29/23: Kraton Palace Yogyakarta - Taman Sari - Cabaret Show (Breakfast, Dinner) Breakfast at Hotel. Today we will take you to City Tour Yogyakarta, visit to: The Kraton (also spelled keraton or karaton) or the Palace of Yogyakarta, is a grand complex that was meticulously planned to reflect the Javanese cosmos. This elegant complex of pavilions was constructed based on ancient beliefs, of the connection between the God, human and the natural realms. Each feature holds a special symbolic meaning related to the Javanese worldview, who consider the importance of Mount Merapi and The Indian Ocean. After that, we will take you to visit to Taman Sari Castle. Located near the Kraton, this place was also known as the garden for the Sultan of Yogyakarta. Taman Sari was originally built for multiple purposes yet now only several buildings remain. Some of its original functions were a place to rest, to meditate, to work, to hide and to defend the Sultan’s family. In this present day, some of its buildings have now become homes for local residents and only the mosque, resting and bathing space, and underground tunnels are accessible by tourists. Walking tour around Malioboro, in the evening we will stop by to Raminten Cabaret Show, a place where u can have fun, amazing talented show, empathy and emotional feeling. Dinner at Raminten, finish the show we will transfer you back to Hotel and rest.

DAY 3, Sunday, 09/3O/23: Visit to the Art Gallery - Batik Making (Breakfast) Breakfast at Hotel. Today, we will go to visit art pieces and participate in creating art at Omah Budoyo Art Gallery. Besides taking a gallery tour, you will also join in making batik artwork, and you can bring the results home with you afterward. In the evening, going back to Hotel and free program.

DAY 4, Monday, 10/01/23: Tempuran Co-working Space (Breakfast) Breakfast at Hotel. Today we will take you to a magical place that can inspire you to create, especially focusing on your work field. In the evening, transfer back to Hotel and rest.

DAY 5, Tuesday, 10/02/23: Prawirotaman Area (Breakfast) Breakfast at Hotel. Today we will spend the day to explore what is in the Prawirotaman Tourist Centre Area has. First stop to stay in the Cold & Brew for working. In the evening, we will go for a walk to enjoy some fun with culinary, live music and mingle with the local people there. After that, transfer back to Hotel and rest.

DAY 6, Wednesday, 10/03/23: Sarang Building Art Space (Breakfast) Breakfast at Hotel. We will go to Sarang Building. Here, we will spend time online. However, it's not just about sitting and focusing on work. There are plenty of interesting spots to explore galleries and workshops, and there is also a coffee shop where you can order coffee and food as your work companions. The design of this place is also captivating, blending Javanese elements with an urban vibe, which can enhance your creative ideas. Transfer back to Hotel and rest.

DAY 7, Thursday, 10/04/23: Kasongan - Jiwa Jawi (Breakfast) Breakfast at Hotel. Today we will go to visit Kasongan, Kasongan is a craft village in Bantul dedicated to pottery. Absolutely any form of pottery, anything can be made of clay. After that we will take you for a little picnic to Jiwa Jawi, an authentic Javanese restaurant with a tranquil and calming concept, where you can stay and work while enjoying traditional Javanese cuisine seated under the shade of trees. Then transfer back to Hotel and rest.

DAY 8, Friday, 10/05/23: Seken Living - Free Program (Breakfast) Breakfast at Hotel. We will go to the south area of Jogja, spending the day staying at Seken Living while enjoying the weather. In the evening, we will stop by to Alun-alun Kidul, for enjoying the last night in Jogja, trying traditional herbal drink and food from Jogja. Transfer back to Hotel and rest.

DAY 9, Saturday, 10/06/23: Departure (Breakfast) Breakfast at Hotel, and check out process. Today is the final day, and we want to make it a memorable one! Before we say goodbye to Jogja, we'll take some time to go souvenir shopping and pick up some unique gifts for our loved ones back home. You can find everything from handcrafted goods to traditional food, Batik and artworks. After shopping, we will take you to the trainstation/airport Yogyakarta. Although our journey is coming to an end, we hope that the memories we've created together will last a lifetime. Safe travels and thank you for joining us on this incredible adventure!
