Then, we will take a traditional long boat to reach the next stop, where we can only continue on foot to get to the Kalibiru. Along the way, we can hear the birds chirping everywhere. The trail will involve crossing streams. So, expect your footwear to get wet. Less than 15 minutes walk, we shall reach the blue color river in the middle of the jungle. Back from Kalibiru, we will have our lunch before going to our next destination for birdwatching. The type of bird of paradise that we will try to watch is the Red Paradise. Although the endemic birds of Papua are endangered, it is still possible to see them in the wild with the help of the local guide. To get to their favorite spot, we must trek for about 30 minutes through the jungle. The trail goes up and downhill. At the end of the birdwatching, we can continue to see the panoramic view of Raja Ampat from Waigeo’s side. Back to the resort, dinner at 7 pm.
