Hi everyone, I am organising a 3-day adventure trip to Snowdonia National Park in Wales from February 16 to 18, 2024 🥰❄️ Snowdonia National Park is the largest national park in Wales and, in my opinion, the most beautiful :) The area consists of mountain landscape full of steep rock ridges, interesting geomorphological forms and breathtaking views 🏔 This trip is perfect for adventure seekers that would like to explore stunning Welsh nature 🗻 The weather here is unpredictable, but I hope that will not deter us from visiting the highest peak of the national park and the whole Wales - Snowdon (in Welsh called Yr Wyddfa) with a height of 1,085 meters. In addition, the plan is to visit other hills with views of Anglesey Island and the inland part of Wales.

About me: My name is Matej and I am a 23-year-old passionate traveler, currently studying master's degree in Event and Tourism Mangement. I love exploring adventurous destinations, full of pristine nature, mountains and rural scenery. My interests include Tourism Geography, World Destinations, Destination Management and Mountain Tourism.

Accommodation: We will live in the village of Llanberis, which is located on the edge of the national park, in a house with traditional local architecture 🏠 The accommodation consists of separate bedrooms, separate beds and a shared kitchen and bathroom. Llanberis

Day 1-3

On the first day, we will all meet, check in and walk around the village. It all depends on the time when everyone arrives. The village is not large, so in case of late arrival it is possible to walk only in the immediate surroundings.

Yr Wyddfa

Day 3

This day, the most important part of the trip awaits us - the hike to the highest peak of the national park and the whole of Wales called Snowdon. We will take the bus from our accommodation to Pen y Pass Warden Centre and hike to the top on foot. The route is moderately difficult, it leads through rocky terrain. In the evening we will return to the accommodation.

Moel Eilio

Day 3

The last day will also depend on individual rearing times. I plan to climb the hill of Moel Eilio, which rises above the village of Llanberis. In the afternoon we will go to the city of Bangor, where our trip will end.
