Trip Itinerary

Bratislava
Day 1
Bratislava will be our meeting spot and also the first short stop where we get to know each other while taking a coffee and strolling through the historic city center known as Stare Mesto before we hit the road. There are many cozy cafés and restaurants. We can walk along Hviezdoslavovo Námestie (Hviezdoslav Square). This charming plaza is shaded with trees and is an ideal place for a short stroll in the historic old town.

Liptov
Day 1-4
We will stay in a beautiful apartment with a private garden and terrace. Thanks to its beautiful natural scenery and cultural monuments, Liptov is one of the most attractive regions of Slovakia surrounded byLow Tatras and High Tatras the biggest mountains in Slovakia. It has so much to offer including mountains, numerous medicinal and thermal springs, caves, water reservoir Liptovská Mara, Tatralandia Aqua Park, UNESCO protected cultural and historical heritage. Liptov is also a great place for hiking and cycling trips, various sporting activities on the water and skiing in winter. During our trip we will take a cableway to the highest peak Chopok, exploring the region while biking. I will arrange for all of us a Liptov Region Card, thanks to which we get attractive discounts on entry fees and services. There are also plenty of affordable local restaurants offering traditional dishes.

Tatralandia
Day 4
We will spend a half day in Tratralandia Water Park, which has 14 different swimming pools with salt water or thermal or fresh water to choose from. Here we can regenerate our bodies, enjoy relaxation, wellness & celtic spa and also try local food in several restaurants. Tatralandia Resort also includes a Tropical Paradise with Palm Trees and relaxation on comfortable pool beds. The VIP Tropical Paradice offers 30°C all year round, you can get a suntan thanks to a special roof cover in all seasons of the year.

Orava
Day 4-7
The last 3 nights we will spend in a traditional wooden cottage from the 1870s with a modern interior touch in the scenic Orava region. This region is famous for its magnificent mountains, wooden crafts and friendly and good-hearted people, as well as the traditional Slovak national dish Halusky. During our stay in Orava we will visit historic villages Terchova and Oravsky Podzamok, Oravs Castle.

Orava Castle
Day 7
To wrap up our trip, we will visit the historic Orava Castle and explore the nearby area while rafting on the river Orava. If you have not rafted before you do not need to worry at all, this is not a wild river and it's rather pleasant 4-hour journey.
