Trip Itinerary
1
Kathmandu
Day 1-2
Day 1 (Kathmandu, Altitude: 1320 mtrs) You will arrive Kathmandu City via Tribhuvan International Airport from your home country. After arrival to Kathmandu, we shall pick you up and arrange your accommodation accordingly. Later in the evening, we will have a welcome session with drinks to know each other & fellow trip mates. Background of Kathmandu : Kathmandu city is considered the gateway to the Nepal Himalayas and is home to several World Heritage Sites: the Durbar Square, Swayambhu Mahachaitya, Bouddha and Pashupatinath. Kathmandu city is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world, founded in the 2nd century AD. The valley was historically called the "Nepal Mandala" and has been the home of the Newar people, a cosmopolitan urban civilization in the Himalayan foothills.

Dhunche
Day 2-3
Day 2 Kathmandu-Dhunche( Altitude: 2,030 mtrs) Located on the Northside of the capital Kathmandu around 65 miles, Dhunche is the starting point to the famous Gosainkunda Lake & Langtang valley trek. It is the administrative headquarter of Rasuwa district which lies at an altitude of 2,030 meters. The area largely fall within the boundaries of Langtang National Park. Gosainkunda Lake, Ganja La Pass, and Tamang village in Bridim are the major highlights of tourism which starts from Dhunche. We shall reach Dhunche on a local bus or rented vehicle.

Sing Gompa
Day 3-4
Day 3 (Dhunche-Sing Gompa) Altitude-3000 mtrs We will start our first day trek after our breakfast in Dhunche and will ascent towards Deurali(2500 mtrs) where it will take roughly about 2-3 hour. It is a small village on the way to Sing Gompa with a few tea houses. Through this beautiful trail, we pas through streamlets and cascades and reach Dhimsa(3000 mtrs) after Deurali. The climb up to Dhimsa is slightly difficult, as the trail goes uphill through beautiful pine forests. After crossing steep uphill sections and around 6 hours of walk, we will finally reach Sing Gompa(3200m). The small settlement also known a Chandanbari in local language is located at the lap of a pine forest.

Gosainkunda
Day 4-5
Day 4 (Sing Gompa- Gosainkunda Lake) Altitude- 4380 mtrs After our hearty breakfast early in the morning at Chandan Bari, we will hike uphill up to Gosainkunda(4380m). Today the hiking will be comparatively more difficult than yesterday because we have to gain higher altitude. So acclimatization is most necessary. The trail gradually ascends up from the beginning so we will have to walk through barren hills and encounter cold breeze. So, make sure you have warm clothes to keep you fine in such a cold environment. After reaching Gosainkunda we will have the view of sunset and overnight in lakeside.

Ghatte Khola
Day 5-6
Day 5 (Gosainkunda- Ghatte Khola)-Altitude 2200 mtrs We will wake up early morning for sunrise view and explore the alpine freshwater lake Gosainkunda. Followed by warm breakfast we will descend back to Ghatte Khola where the lunch will be provided during trek at Chandanbari. Since we will be descending, hiking will be a bit easier and fun. We will also spot different protected birds in the trail like Wood Snipe, Snow Partridge, Tibetan Snow Cock, etc.

Nuwakot Palace
Day 6
Day 6( Ghatte Khola-Nuwakot Durbar Square) Altitude 900 mtrs Today is the last day where our trek will end. So we will be enjoying it a bit more. The alluring views of mountains, pine forest and the flavorful cheese of Chandanbari will make the journey quite memorable. We will reach Dhunche eat our breakfast and reach Nuwakot Durbar Square. After exploring the palace we will take rest and overnight for our next day to Kathmandu. Background of Nuakot Palace: Nuwakot Palace. This palace was built by Nepal's first king Prithvi Narayan Shah in the 18th century and is located in Nuwakot, Bidur Municipality after 2018.The city is located on the bank of Trishuli and Tandi river just 75 km west from Kathmandu. Known as historic town which was the capital of the Valley in the days before the unification of Nepal by Prithvi Narayan Shah. For more than 1,000 years the hilltop had served as a lookout and fort guarding the western entrance to Kathmandu Valley.

Kathmandu
Day 6-7
So the trekking is over and we will travel back to Kathmandu city via rented vehicle or a local bus. We will make final departure arrangements to fly back to your home country. The same evening we will have a farewell dinner with memories left behind.
