A moderate to challenging hike that takes you through some of the most iconic, cultural & beautiful scenery in Nepal under foothills of Himalayas. Gosainkunda hike is for those who want to see the mid-hills, high altitude lakes - including the pious Gosainkunda Lake and other Himalayan glaciers. The trek region lies a short distance to the north of Kathmandu near the Nepal - Tibet border.Well this trek takes us 5 days to complete from Kathmandu . We will experience deep gorges, rocky terrain, pine forests, yak pastures, insight into Buddhist religious practices, mystical monasteries, picturesque villages, hillside terraces, serene valleys, and breathtaking glaciers originating from high mountains. The trail also takes us to the sacred Gosainkunda (4,380m / 14,620ft), an alpine freshwater lake high up in the mountains.

This is me Krishna P from Kathmandu and would like to guide you people in one of the most iconic, cultural & beautiful scenery in Nepal under foothills of Himalayas. Mountains have been fascinating me since my childhood. Growing up in the foothills of the Himalayas, I have travelled & explored more than 500 miles of different trekking/hiking trails throughout Nepal on foot. I too have a decade long experience in leading, managing & arranging trekking/hiking and other leisure activities here in Nepal.

Our accommodations and stay shall be on mountain lodges and tea houses on a share basis or on private. 3 meal courses will be provided on a daily basis during the trek. On your 5-6 days Gosainkunda Trek, you will get a chance to trek in the mountainous region of Nepal; discover amazing places, and know a lot of new things about Nepal. You will pass through many rhododendron forests, rivers, streams, and villages en route to Gosainkunda.
