Chisapani - Nagarkot hike is one of the short and quick trails to explore nature in Nepal. Are you ready to explore with me? The trip itinerary: The starting point of the trial Sundarijal which is the water shed for Kathmandu is only 1-hour drive from the bustling streets of Kathmandu, which is the gateway to the Shivapuri National Park. We will ascend through lush greenery, towering trees and traditional villages with good stoned paved trails to our way to Chisapani. Then the trail from Chisapani to Nagarkot runs via terraced fields, lushes jungle and villages with the mesmerizing view of peaks as Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and many more. Stunning sun sets and sun rise from Nagarkot will take your breath away and if you're still not amazed the majestic view of the mountain range will take keep your mouth wide open.
About me: Namaste, I am Sirish Manandhar I am so excited to be the TripLeader for this beautiful short hike. Me being very close to nature, hiking has always been the best way possible to explore nature. Currently, while slowly exploring my way into the tourism industry, I recently got my trekking guide license from Government of Nepal, so you will be on the safe hands :) . And I believe adventure tourism can be the best possible tourism for Nepal. I am really excited to explore this short and beautiful journey with you guys, as being a leader for this trip I will be responsible for all the management so that you can have the best experience with Nature. Alttitude ~ 1350m - Distance (Kathmandu to Sundarijal) ~15km - Time - 1 hour Embark on a captivating adventure as we drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, the gateway of Shivapuri National Park. We will get our entry permits to the national park here. Amidst lush forests, glistening streams, and cascading waterfalls, we'll ascend along stone steps, immersing ourselves in nature's embrace.

Chisapani
Day 3-4
Alttitude ~ 2345m - Distance (Sundarijal to Chisapani) ~16km - Time - 5-6 hours As we leave behind local village settlements in Mulkharka, the trail leads us to the enchanting forest of Chisapani . Perched on a trail ridge, Chisapani rewards us with breathtaking panoramic views of Jugal, Ganesh Himal, and the Langtang region. A 4-5 hour hike filled with natural wonders awaits, leaving lasting memories and an appreciation for Nepal's picturesque landscapes.

Nagarkot
Day 4-5
Alttitude ~ 2175m - Distance (Chisapani to Nagarkot) ~22km - Time - 6-7 hours With an awe-inspiring sunrise at Nagarkot, our day unfolds as we descend through enchanting hiking trails, passing charming villages that offer an authentic glimpse into Nepalese culture. The hilly terrain mesmerizes with ever-changing panoramas of majestic Himalayan peaks, including Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, and Mt. Everest. Amidst lush pine forests of Telkot Hill, a 2-3 hour hike leads us to the revered Changunarayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire intricate carvings and sculptures, immersing in its profound historical significance. As the hike concludes, take a moment to relax and relish the tranquility of this sacred place. Venture around Bhaktapur to explore the ancient treasures of Bhaktapur Durbar Squares, delving into the vibrant culture that surrounds you. Indulge in the rich heritage and embrace the captivating charm of this unforgettable journey.

Changunarayan
Day 5
Alttitude ~ 1600m - Distance (Chisapani to Nagarkot) ~10km - Time - 3-4 hours Our day starts with a beautiful sunrise at Nagarkot which has one of the best sun rise view. Then we descend through the hiking trails from Nagarkot. The trails leads through charming villages, offering an authentic glimpse into Nepalese locals. As you ascend and descend the hilly terrain, be mesmerized by ever-changing panoramas of majestic Himalayas. The mountains views will include Annapurna, Manaslu, Lantang and Mt. Everest. With the hike through the lush pine forests of Telkot Hill within 2-3 hours we will arrive at Changunarayan Temple, one of the World Heritage Sites. Changu Narayan temple is famous for its intricate carvings and sculptures and holds immense historical significance. You can relax around here and take a breath as the hike comes to an end.

Day 5-6
