Lisbon
Day 1-4
Day 1: Arrival in Lisbon The taxi from the airport to city centre is 10 euros, or you can take the cheap shuttle bus, it's a very easy connection. 🔸 Morning: Arrive in Lisbon and check into your accommodation. Take some time to settle in and freshen up, before we go out. 🔸 Afternoon: Head to the historic district of Alfama. Visit the São Jorge Castle for panoramic views of the city. Explore the narrow streets and alleys of Alfama, filled with quaint shops and cafés. Let's take the famous Lisbon Tram 28 route, and enjoy the beauty of the city from its windows (you will love that experience!) 🔸 Evening: Enjoy a traditional Portuguese dinner at a local restaurant. Sample some of the local dishes, such as bacalhau à brás (salted cod) or feijoada (bean stew). I have a list of places to eat prepared, because I'm a big food lover, and Portuguese cuisine is just excellent.

Belém
Day 4
Day 2: Tagus River, Belem and Fado Music evening📸📸📸 lots of photo opportunities Morning: 🔹Take a boat trip on the Tagus River. You can choose from several boat tours that offer different perspectives of Lisbon's coastline and landmarks. This is a very beautiful and charming cruise to the other side of Lisbon, reaching Almada, a small neighbourhood, with some great restaurants, so we can either eat at the market or in Almada. Also, there is a viewing tower, not known to many people on that side, so I will take you there. 🔹 Afternoon: We'll make our way to Belem, a historic district of Lisbon, where you find the famous Casa pastéis de Belém shop, where we will taste this most delicious cakes, probably many 😋 🔹 Evening: Return to your accommodation to relax and freshen up. Hopefully we are not too tired after all the excitement, because I want to take you to a traditional taverna with Fado music to experience real Portuguese culture. The music is free, but we'll have to order some food or drink. I think it will a time for some delicious Sangria 😋🍷

Lisbon
Day 4-5
Day 3: Tapas and Wine Tour and Magusto Festival 🔹 Morning: More delicious food today. I have booked us a local guide to take us on a culinary and historical walk, with some tapas and drinks. I hope we can still walk straight after that adventure 😂 🔹 Afternoon: Take some time to relax or explore the city at your own pace. Evening: Celebrate the Magusto Festival, a traditional Portuguese chestnut festival that typically occurs on November 11th. We are lucky to be in town for that date, where local people celebrate this ancient harvest festival. I think it will also be a great photo moment to catch 📸

Sintra National Palace
Day 5
Sintra Day Trip 🔹 Morning: Take a train from Rossio Station to Sintra (about 40 minutes). Visit the colourful Pena Palace and its beautiful gardens. 🔹 Afternoon: Explore the historic town centre of Sintra. Visit Quinta da Regaleira and its enchanting gardens. 🔹 Evening: Return to Lisbon and have dinner at a restaurant of your choice.

National Tile Museum
Day 5
Day 5: 🔹 Departure day. I'm sure you will feel like myself, after my first visit here, and want to stay longer 🙂. 🔹 Depending on our departure times, we can visit the tile museum in the morning, or just have a nice breakfast together, before splitting into our destinations. 🔹 I will give you all the relevant travel info later, but just remember, Lisbon is very accessible, and the public transport is excellent. Also, the taxi and Uber are cheap and very efficient here (comparing to London, they're amazing).
