Guided trip
Hey, I'm Jacobeth and I'm fun-loving.I love the beach and that's where I get the best vibes. 😋 I want to make this trip because I feel like I need to recharge my energy in a calm place, with a lot of nature and good people around me. Make good friends and enjoy the Peace of mind of the beautiful Mombasa and Zanzibar islands. Has Mombasa and Zanzibar ever been on your bucket list? Are you an adrenaline junkie? Have you experienced the Swahili culture on the perfect coastlines? well this is your perfect opportunity to get to experience wild fun while doing many activities across the coastal city like a local. I expect my TripMates to have an open mind, to know how to chill, to communicate, to be a united team, and have a positive mindset. This is a 7-day backpacking trip. It starts from Nairobi through Mombasa to Watamu, and it ends in Zanzibar. The dates are still flexible. A day before traveling, we meet in Nairobi, get to know each other and go through the whole trip plans. On the next day we meet at the CBD then all proceed to the train station bound for Mombasa. The whole journey to Mombasa takes around 6 hours. From Mombasa, we would then connect to Watamu which is a 2hours drive from Mombasa where we will be checking in at our accommodation. We would then try out some coastal dishes, then spend the night here. We will spend 3 nights in this Watamu. Try to visit all the planned sightseeing places. We would then proceed from Mombasa and visit all planned places during the day and then check into our hostel in the evening. We then leave for Dar Es Salaam with the Coach bus, we definitely have to wake up early as the buses depart at 6 AM. The journey is about 9 hrs so you should be very ready for this. We would go through border control crossing to Tanzania, so make sure you have your visa, yellow fever card, and the Covid vaccine certificate. Upon arrival in Daresalam, we will head straight to the ferry terminal to catch the last ferry to Zanzibar. Zanzibar is definitely the highlight of the whole trip. The plan is to spend 4 nights here but I am sure we would end up adding a few more nights, Zanzibar can make you do that.
