Sines
Day 1
Sines is a small coastal town located on the Alentejo coast and is known for being the birthplace of the great explorer Vasco da Gama. Famous for its stunning sandy beaches and wild waves, this historic fishing town is a must-see on your trip to Portugal. Located in the district of Setúbal, in the Alentejo region and sub-region of the Alentejo coast, the city is approximately 150 km from the country's capital, Lisbon. It is located at the tip of Cabo de Sines, which projects into the Atlantic Ocean. The coast of Sines is part of the natural parks of Southwest Alentejo and the stunning Costa Vicentina. The city of Sines is known for its deep-water port, which played a large role in Portugal's trade and industry. The city's historic center displays captivating architecture, while its beaches and proximity to the Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina Natural Park attract nature lovers. Here are some of the main attractions we will visit in Sines: Vasco da Gama Monument: A statue of the city's most famous son, who was born here around 1460. Sines Castle: This castle was built to defend the fleet and the city against enemy navies and pirates. Sines Museum: The city museum has a fascinating small exhibition about Sines' past. São Torpes Beach: One of the best beaches in the region. Pessegueiro Fort: A historic place to visit. Praia do Buizinhos: Another beautiful beach to relax. Porto Covo
Day 1
Porto Covo is a small village located in the municipality of Sines, in the Alentejo region, located approximately 170 km south of Lisbon. The village, which is part of the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, has around 1000 inhabitants. During the summer, however, the population increases with the arrival of tourists and vacationers, attracted by its stunning beaches with warm, crystal-clear waters. Here are some of the main attractions we will visit in Porto Covo: Praia do Banho: One of the many beautiful beaches sheltered by impressive cliffs. Praia Pequena and Praia da Engardaceira: These are often small sandy coves surrounded by impressive cliffs. Praia Grande and Praia da Ilha: These are the largest and easily accessible beaches. São Torpes: The main beach for surfers, with excellent waves. Pessegueiro Fort: A historic place to visit. Porto Covo Church: Located on the edge of Largo Marquês de Pombal. Porto Covo has managed to maintain its fishing village atmosphere and its untouched coastline. With a history that dates back to Roman times, Porto Covo is a very special place for us to visit and discover.

Melides
Day 1-10
Melides is a charming village located in the municipality of Grândola, in the Alentejo region, in Portugal. With a population of around 1,459 inhabitants, Melides is known for its idyllic landscapes, pristine beaches and rich cultural heritage. The village is located around 130km south of Lisbon and is a popular summer home getaway. Here are some of the main attractions we will visit in Melides: Melides Beach: A beautiful beach with long stretches of sand and a charming lagoon. Melides Lagoon: A calm body of water. Culture took to the streets on a Day Like This: An interesting monument to visit. Melides Horse Riding: An opportunity to explore the area on horseback. St. Peter's Church: A historic church to visit. Santa Marinha Church: Another historic church in the area. Melides is known for its rice production and its eucalyptus, pine and cork forests. The village has a well-preserved old center with the small traditional church of São Pedro from the 18th century. The village is known for its fishing and the sale of fresh fish in the small market in the center of the village. The village of Melides is a very special place to visit and discover. With a history dating back to Roman times, Melides offers an authentic and peaceful experience, far from the chaos of modern life.
