Annapurna Sanctuary best known as Annapurna Base Camp was not penetrated by outsiders & foreigner until 1956 AD. But today, this trek is considered as one of the most recommended, awaited and in the top bucket list for westerner. It is the home of Mount Annapurna which is world's 10th highest mountain which stands 8091 mtr above sea level and sacred iconic Mount Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

A little about me! Hi, fellow TripMates! This is me Krishna P from Kathmandu and would like to guide you people in one of the sacred white water lake in Nepal under lap of the Himalayas. Mountains have been fascinating me since my childhood. Growing up in the foothills of the Himalayas, I have travelled & explored more than 500 miles of different trekking/hiking trails throughout Nepal on foot. I too have a decade long experience in leading, managing & arranging trekking/hiking and other leisure activities here in Nepal.

Details about the accommodation: Our accommodations and stay shall be on mountain lodges and tea houses on a share basis or on private. 3 courses of meal will be provided on a daily basis during the trek. Kathmandu

Day 1-2
Day 1 (Kathmandu, Altitude: 1320 mtrs) You will arrive in Kathmandu City via Tribhuvan International Airport from your home country. After arrival to Kathmandu, we shall pick you up and arrange your accommodation accordingly. Later in the evening, we will have a welcome session with drinks to know each other & fellow trip mates. Background of Kathmandu : Kathmandu city is considered the gateway to the Nepal Himalayas and is home to several World Heritage Sites: the Durbar Square, Swayambhu Mahachaitya, Bouddha and Pashupatinath. Kathmandu city is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world, founded in the 2nd century AD. The valley was historically called the "Nepal Mandala" and has been the home of the Newar people, a cosmopolitan urban civilization in the Himalayan foothills.

Pokhara

Day 2-3
Day 2 (Kathmandu-Pokhara) 210 km Altitude 820 mtr Pokhara capital city of Gandaki Province is known as the tourism hub of Nepal. The city lies on the shore of Phewa Lake and offers lots of adventure like boating, sightseeing, paragliding, canyoning, ultra light flight and many more. Pokhara is considered the tourism capital of Nepal, being a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Circuit through the Annapurna Conservation Area region of the Annapurna ranges in the Himalayas. The Annapurna Mountain Range, with three out of the ten highest peaks in the world—Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu i just around 15-40 miles from city itself.

Ghandruk

Day 3-4
Day 3 (Pokhara-Ghandruk) 61 km Altitude-2100 mtr Ghandruk a small village in Kaski district is a common place & starting point for Annapurna Base Camp trek. The peaks of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna and Hiunchuli can be seen from the village. Gurung communities comprise the major inhabitants of the village. Ghandruk is one of Nepal’s most marketed tourist settlements. As a result, there are around 300 hotels and homestays for tourists & visitors.

Chhomrong

Day 4-5
Day 4 (Ghandruk-Chomrong) 7.8 km Altitude 2300 mtr Chhomrong is the finest spot to stop for the night after Ghandruk. The accommodations are decent, with a bed, comfortable cushions, and an electric blanket. The place provides you with the magnificent scenery of mountains, and they have their way of hospitality and gastronomic culture.

Dovan

Day 5-6
Day 5 (Chhomrong-Dovan-Himalaya) 12 km Altitude 3000 mtr Dovan is one of the greatest sites for ABC trekkers to stay; at this height, there are five teahouses with large rooms and a common restroom. These teahouses usually have a western bathroom with a shower. This is the busiest and a favorite location for many Annapurna base camp hikers.

Annapurna Base Camp

Day 6-7
Day 6 (Himalaya-Annapurna Base Camp) 8.8 km Altitude 4130 mtr So today you will ascend towards Annapurna Base Camp via Deurali & Machhapuchhre Base Camp through the bank of Modi river. Above are the towering ring of mountains with face to face view. A view which will always be in your memories and a remarkable one. We will be spending our night at the Base Camp itself.

Sinuwa

Day 7-8
Day 7( Annapurna Base Camp-Bamboo) 14 km Altitude-2340 mtr The next day will take us out of Annapurna Sanctuary as we retrace our steps out of Modi River Valley to a serene stop point called Bamboo or may be Sinuwa, where we will stay for the night.

Pokhara

Day 8-9
Day 8 (Jhinu Dada-Pokhara) 63 km Altitude 822 mtr The following morning, we leave Bamboo and trek to Jhinu Danda (1,780m / 6,393ft). Jhinu Danda hosts natural hot springs where we can relax and smoothen our tired muscles. After lunch and relax, we shall transfer you to Pokhara via private or local vehicle. Later evening, we shall have a night out or clubbing in lakeside of Phewa at Pokhara.

Kathmandu

Day 9-10
Day 9 (Pokhara-Kathmandu) 210 km Altitude-1320 mtr So the trekking is over, and we will travel back to Kathmandu city via rented vehicle or a local bus. We will make final departure arrangements to fly back to your home country. The same evening we will have a farewell dinner with memories left behind.
