Ovo Castle
Day 7
The Castel dell'Ovo (Egg in EN.), is the oldest castle in the city of Naples and is one of the elements that stand out most in the famous panorama of the gulf. One of the most imaginative Neapolitan legends would trace its name to the egg that Virgil would have hidden inside a cage in the basement of the castle. The place where the egg was kept, was closed by heavy locks and kept secret since "that egg hung all the feuds and the fortune of Naples".

Royal Palace of Caserta
Day 7
From our house in ma 40 minutes, we are to The Royal Palace of Caserta. The Royal Palace of Caserta was built from 1752 by Luigi Vanvitelli, and later by his son Carlo, at the behest of Charles of Bourbon with the aim of erecting it as the fulcrum of the new kingdom of Naples. With its historic apartments and majestic gardens and fountains, this place is an enchanting place that takes you to another dimension, another era. In 1997 the Royal Palace of Caserta was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
6
Aversa
Day 7
And now welcome to my hometown. Close to our house in Baia Verde, we will visit the ancient cave of Zio Carlo (Menalino) followed by a wine tasting and explanation made by an expert sommelier. Everything will be followed by a delicious dinner in his restaurant.

Procida (Porto)
Day 7
We have arrived at the wonderful visit of the island Procida. Procida is a volcanic island in the Gulf of Naples that stands out for its typically Mediterranean beauty made of pastel-colored houses, fishing boats and small villages perched in the hills. The island began to become famous in the late 1950s thanks to the book "The Island of Arturo" written by Elsa Morante and film masterpieces such as The Postman with Massimo Troisi and, later, The Talent of Mr. Ripley with Matt Damon. Once there we will visit the island and then we'll stop in a restaurant for a great lunch!
