Have you ever thought about visiting one of the smallest country in the world? If so, this quick trip is for you! RESERVATION TIME EXPIRES ON April 30th 2024. The Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg is a small country located between France, Belgium and Germany, with just a little more than half million of population, but it's a very important country for European Union. In this trip we will visit its capital, Luxembourg city, taking time to see it's architecture and its green parks, tasting local food and enjoying a relaxing and safe atmosphere. We will visit the Notre-Dame cathedral, the ancient walls called "casemates", and historic center. In the second day we will visit the little town called Vianden and its amazing castle, than we will also visit the Victor Hugo's house, the famous french writer and poet. We can also think about adding Diekirch, a small town between Luxembourg city and Vianden, to take a relaxing walk, tasting something local and visiting the museum of the war, or the museum of the beer 😊 Luxembourg is the country of free transports! Trains and buses are free for everyone. Making a 24h Luxembourg card, we will also have free access to every historic spot of the country.

About Me: I'm Alessandro, an italian 37 years old certified tour leader (I passed the exam just in september 2023, with english and spanish qualifications). I travelled in 19 countries so far, and I always planned by myself itineraries and activities... that's why I decided to do it as a job. I've been in Luxembourg once, and found it a special little country, so I'd like to bring there curious people like me. In my trips, everyone is welcome: alone travelers, friends, couples, families. I love kids. There are no age limits! I like waking up early, exploring all day, and going to bed no too late. I'm not a party-guy, if I can say so, but I love meeting people and share good moments with them :-) I also follow an alcohol free life ^.^

Due to Luxembourg high costs, I choosed an hotel in the airport zone. It's quite, cheap, breakfast is included and it's just fifteen minutes away from the town center, by local free transport. Day 1-2

In our first day, we meet at the airport, or at the hotel (just in front of the airport), to do the rooms check-in, and know each other. Due to your flight landing, we can alredy thinking about a first visit in the city.

Day 2-3

Today we dedicate our time to visit the capital of this little country. From the Notre-Dame cathedral, to the green city parks, from the historic center and its squares, to the ancient walls called "casemates". We will also taste the local cuisine, very similar to the french and german ones, but with some little difference.

Vianden

Day 3-4

Using free public transportation, on this day we will move to Vianden, exploring this little historic town. We will take a chair lift to reach the castle, were we can take also a very little trekking. The castle is one of biggest on the west side of Reno river. We will also visit the house of the french writer and poet Victor Hugo. In the afternoon we can also thinking about visiting the city of Diekirch, a very quite town with nice houses and interesting museums. We will come back to our hotel in Luxembourg city to sleep.

Day 4

Today our journeys end. There will be time to have breakfast all together, before going to the airport. For those who need to leave the luggage, because the flights are in the afternoon, no problem, the hotel provides a baggage drop. See you next time!
