Born and raised on the beautiful Madeira Island, I have an intimate knowledge of its culture and history. Currently living abroad, I have developed a passion for backpacking and road trips. I love meeting new people and sharing my experiences with others, always seeking new adventures and connections

Our standard accommodation will be in a hostel, offering the most budget-friendly option. However, we can upgrade to suit your preferences, including Airbnb, apartments, or private rooms, depending on availability at the time of booking and you will pay the difference for the new accommodation. All accommodations will be conveniently located around the Funchal area. P.S. Depend the number from the group maybe I can manage to book a full holyday house/apartment for the group and the price for the accommodation will be adjusted according. * I will not share the same accommodation with you * On the time you decide to book, maybe the accommodation is not available anymore and a new price will be updated, but I will share with you all the information

Trip Itinerary

Funchal

Day 1-3
Our itinerary will be flexible and depend on the weather. On Madeira Island, there’s usually a sunny spot even when it’s raining elsewhere, and I know exactly where to find them. You can expect to hike through some of the island’s most beautiful locations, with options ranging from easy to challenging trails. During our daily trips, we’ll enjoy meals at local restaurants or, if we’re hiking, we’ll prepare sandwiches or grab snacks from a supermarket to carry with us. I won’t specify a rigid schedule like “Day 1: Fanal, Day 2: 25 Fontes,” because it’s more practical to adapt our plans based on the weather. If one side of the island has bad weather, we’ll do something equally amazing on the other side. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit, as we might stop for a swim at any time. We’ll depart from Funchal, which allows us to reach any destination on the island easily. Expect to watch stunning sunsets, hike through diverse landscapes, visit numerous towns and cities, savor local food and drinks, and try the original poncha! If you’re looking for adrenaline, I definitely know where to find it. Always carry your swimsuit with you—we never know when we’ll find the perfect spot for a swim. And bring a good winter jacket; if we’re lucky, we might even go up to the mountains and experience some snow.
