Monopoli: Spend your first night in the charming coastal town of Monopoli, known for its beautiful beaches and historic fortifications. Polignano, Alberobello, and Ostuni: Explore the unique cliffside town of Polignano, marvel at the trulli houses of Alberobello, and wander through the white-washed streets of Ostuni. 2. The Florence of the South - Lecce: Cultural and Architectural Wonders: Spend three nights in Lecce, often referred to as the "Florence of the South" because of its Baroque architecture. From Lecce, explore the stunning Salento area with its crystal-clear waters and picturesque coastal towns such as Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca. 3. Dynamic Group Experience: Travel with a group of up to 5 adventurers (including me). Our group will be a mix of solo travelers and friends, all eager to share this immersive cultural and scenic experience. September 13th-14th: Visit Polignano, Alberobello, and Ostuni, overnight in Ostuni. September 14th-17th: Base in Lecce, daily excursions to various towns and beaches in the Salento region. Accommodations Overview for the Apulian Journey: In Bari and Monopoli: We will stay in charming B&Bs that offer twin rooms, en-suite facilities, and a cozy setting perfect for group interactions. In Ostuni: Overnight in a traditional white-washed house, experiencing the iconic 'White City' up close. In Lecce: Spend three nights in a centrally located B&B, making it easy to explore the city and surrounding areas. Adaptability for Different Group Sizes: Should our group not reach the maximum capacity, I will adjust our accommodations accordingly, ensuring everyone has comfortable and cost-effective options without compromising on quality or location. Bari

Day 1-2

12th of September: Arrival in Bari Morning: Arrive in Bari in the morining/early afternoon. We'll meet at the airport and exchange a brief introduction to our adventure in Apulia. Afternoon: Explore Bari's Old Town: We'll begin our exploration of Bari’s historical center, visiting ancient churches and winding streets. Lunch in Bari: Enjoy a traditional meal in one of Bari's renowned eateries, featuring local specialties. Evening: Transfer to Monopoli: After exploring Bari, we will drive south to the coastal town of Monopoli. Check-in and Dinner: Settle into our accommodation and then enjoy a group dinner where we will discuss the itinerary in detail.

Polignano a Mare

Day 2-3

13th of September: Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, and Ostuni Morning: Visit Polignano a Mare: Start the day with a visit to the stunning seaside town of Polignano a Mare, known for its dramatic coastal cliffs and pebble beaches. Coffee Break: Enjoy a coffee at a cliffside café overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Afternoon: Explore Alberobello: Drive to Alberobello to see the famous trulli houses, unique to the region and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lunch in Alberobello: Sample local cuisine in a trulli-converted restaurant. Evening: Arrival in Ostuni: Conclude the day with a visit to Ostuni, known as the White City due to its whitewashed walls and houses. Dinner and Overnight in Ostuni: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by an overnight stay in a typical whitewashed house.

Lecce

Day 3-6

14th-17th of September: Discovering Lecce and the Salento Coast Morning: Lecce Exploration: Spend the morning exploring Lecce’s Baroque architecture, including the Basilica di Santa Croce and Piazza del Duomo. Breakfast in Lecce: Enjoy a pasticciotto, a local pastry, with a cappuccino at a café in Lecce. DAY TRIPS: Salento Beaches: Over the next few days, explore various towns and beaches along the Salento coast, such as the crystal-clear waters of Otranto and the picturesque village of Santa Maria di Leuca. Lunch by the Sea: Sample seafood dishes at a coastal restaurant. Evenings: Sunset in Santa Maria di Leuca: Watch the sunset where the Adriatic meets the Ionian Sea. Dinner in Lecce: Return to Lecce for dinners and overnight stays throughout your time exploring Salento. 17th of September: Departure from Brindisi (or Bari) Morning: Final Breakfast: Enjoy a final breakfast with the group, sharing memories and exchanging contacts. Check-out from Lecce: Prepare for departure.
