Trip Itinerary
1
Barcelona
Day 1-7
This is Ground Zero of our trip and where we will rent the hostel for the 6 nights. We will explore, see museums and cathedrals, eat cheesecake, and try the other local food and drink. I am also looking for at least one place where we can hear local live music.
2
Montserrat
Day 7
We will take a bus for a day trip to go to the top and take photos of the amazing panoramic view we will have of the city and nature all around. Bring comfortable walking shoes! We will visit a monastery there and maybe see monks too. There are two famous statues on the mountain. One is of the Virgin Mary, and the other one is the patron saint of Montserrat
3
Girona
Day 7
This is a nearby smaller city that we will take a day trip to. It is on the coast so if weather allows we can of course go to the beach. There is also a cathedral and a Jewish Museum so we can experience culture and history. We will be able to eat a lot of Tapas here at affordable prices. We will go by bus.
4
Barceloneta Beach
Day 7
This area of Barcelona is most famous for being right on the beach. In November, we may not be able to get soaked in the water, but we can always have drinks and Tapas at the mini cafes that line the area. And of course, a stroll on the beach is always a good idea!
5
El Molino Barcelona
Day 7
This 100-year-old Cabaret place serves cocktails and has live performances every night. It is not a must, but is an option to do for the experience for an evening out. Even if there is no just good it might be fun to dress up just a little bit. Not a requirement though🙂
