Day 2-3
Cusco City Tour. Get ready for a thrilling day that kicks off with your pick-up at 08:30, signaling the start of your captivating city tour. Our first destination is the awe-inspiring Qoricancha, famously known as the Temple of the Sun. As you step inside, prepare to be mesmerized by its architectural wonders and flawless stone craftsmanship, a hallmark found only in Inca temples of the highest significance. Next, we'll venture beyond the bustling city center to uncover three profoundly important Inca archaeological marvels: Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, and Puca Pucara. Plus, brace yourself for an enchanting encounter with alpacas and llamas at our specialized zoo. Marvel at the colossal, expertly sculpted stones at Sacsayhuaman, delve into the sacred realms of Q'enqo, and unravel the mysteries of Puca Pucara, an ancient administrative gem integral to Cusco's historic defense system. Finally, revel in the breathtaking panoramas from the vantage point of Cristo Blanco. Upon concluding your city tour, we'll transport you back to your city accommodation around 13:30. Sacred Valley
Day 3-4
Cusco-Chinchero-Ollantaytambo-Urubamba-Pisaq-Cusco When travelers visit Cusco, their initial focus often centers on Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders. But, there are many other highly important archaeological sites in and out of the city that were also significant during the Inca empire. Our exciting day out begins at 8:00 am as we depart from our accommodations and set off in our private transport to our first destination of the day On this day out, you can expect to stop at Ollantaytambo, Pisac's archeological site and colorful market, the Inca site of Chinchero, and the Andean Textile Center. On the tour, from Chinchero to Ollantaytambo, you'll have the chance to stop at some fantastic lookout points to witness the Andean Mountain's beauty and the stunning valley landscape. Vinicunca
Day 4-5
Embrace mountain trails. Our adventure kicks off at 4:00 am with a pick-up from your accommodation. We'll embark on a 3-hour journey to Cusco's Southern Valley in our private transport, complete with cozy blankets for your comfort. A continental breakfast will be provided, accompanied by the delightful sight of llamas and alpacas. Upon reaching the hike's starting point at 4,630 meters (15,150 feet), you'll traverse a scenic path amidst the Andean mountains, with panoramic views of the 6,372-meter (20,905-foot) Ausangate Mountain. This region is home to local communities that preserve their cultural heritage, including traditional clothing and indigenous Quechua language. After a 1.5-hour hike, you'll arrive at the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain of Cusco, situated at 5,100 meters (16,732 feet). Take time to admire this unique natural wonder, explore the surroundings, and capture stunning photos. We'll spend 30 minutes to an hour at the summit, offering flexibility based on your pace. The return journey will take approximately another hour to reach the starting point. We'll then board our transport to a restaurant in Cusipata for a buffet lunch. Finally, our private transport will return you to Cusco, dropping you off at your accommodation. This adventure provides a glimpse into Andean culture and unforgettable landscapes. Maras
Day 5-6
Community Tourism and Cultural Immersion On this day (08:30am) we will shift our tour focus, and we will explore the agricultural laboratory of Moray and the salt mines of Maras in a unique way, alongside the community of Misminay. Some families from Misminay will open their doors to us, allowing us to learn more about them and share lunch. Undoubtedly, a day we will not forget. Later, we will head to the Ollantaytambo Train Station to spend the night in Aguas Calientes. Machu Picchu
Day 6-7
The lost city of Machu Picchu is the most famous archaeological site in Peru and possibly all of South America. This collection of temples, terraced hills, and plazas, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was once the mountaintop citadel of the ancient Inca Empire. While it is now globally renowned, Machu Picchu has not yet revealed the mysteries behind its construction, purpose, and eventual disappearance. Let's explore and get to know this place.
