I'm Gabi, an ocean-kid, yoga lover and passionate Madeira expert. I am currently on a mission to spread happiness to solo travellers, the joy in mind & body via exploring Madeira, it's strong natural energy and connecting to other like-minded beings. I have gained expertise on the best places to visit on the island and I cannot wait to share them with you!
We will share a nice 3-bedroom house together. The house has 3 separate bedrooms with double beds and 2 bathrooms. Each of the trip mate will have own bedroom. We will have a car to explore the whole island during our stay, but this will be our home for the whole duration. The house has washing machine and other necessary amenities.

First day, I will take care of you since you arrive to the airport. I will be in Madeira earlier, so I will make sure to pick you up! We will take it easy, gather everyone and get to know each other. We will gather together to check into our beautiful home for the week and get to know each other!

Fanal
Day 2-3
Visiting Fanal forest bring you straight into Fantasy movie or a fairy tale. It is truly magical place, mysterious fog usually covers the evergreen trees, and it take you right into the mood. You never know what view will you get, but it is always 100% magical experience to walk around the ancient trees.

Porto da Cruz
Day 3-4
Another day we will do the longest hike of the trip, an awesome trail running along the coast of the North-East of the island. Awing views, beautiful greenery, blue ocean on the horizon. This hike ends in a town called Porto da Cruz, where we will take a lunch break, a bit of a rest before we head back. (Hike location is subject to change based on weather forecast or mood of the group, we can change the choice of trail if we like, there are too many options in Madeira!)

Porto Moniz
Day 4
Time to relax a bit, time to connect with the water element, with the powerful ocean. We will go explore north coast village Seixal and Porto Moniz, Seixal famous for Black sand beach with stunning view of the cliffs and Porto Moniz with its volcanic pools. Swimming in volcanic natural pools transcends the ordinary; it is a sacred communion with the elements. Surrender to the embrace of the ocean waters, let the volcanic energy guide your strokes, and allow the elements to weave their magic around you, creating an unforgettable connection with the raw, natural beauty of the world. 🌋🌊🌿

Praia do Porto do Seixal
Day 4-5
Whilst visiting the north coast, besides swimming in volcanic pools and viewing stunning waterfalls we will also walk the famous black sand beach with Seixal and have a lovely coffee in local cafe with the best views on the island.

Ponta do Sol
Day 5-6
This day I am keeping open for discussion, there is simply a lot of option of what we can see & do. Options include, but are not limited to : a/ Easy day on a beach where we can do Yoga together, have a picnic, chat or read our favorite book. b/ Active day, choosing a trail to do and simply go for it and then reward ourselves with Poncha! c/ Experience day, booking a surf lesson or Canyoning and push our limits d/ Road trip day, want to see as much as possible, do you still have a list of places you want to tick off? Let's drive around the island in a day.

Pico do Arieiro
Day 6-7
Whilst the most famous PR1 hike is currently closed to recent fires... I know, tragic :( We can still visit this stunning mountain region safely, either watching the sunset or completing a shorter hike to the summit of the Highest peak. Don't worry, this will be unforgettable memory regardless the recent situation..

Pico do Facho
Day 7-8
It's time to see the rich marine wildlife of Madeira! Have you ever seen dolphins and whales in their natural habitat? Here you will get the memorable chance to do so! My favourite activity of all, boat tour into the blue waters surrounding Madeira.

Santa Cruz
Day 8
It's our last day, so why don't we have a last lovely breakfast together and reflect on our memories created during this trip! Since I have learnt what works on the island I also know how to adjust activities based on weather and energy levels :) And of course there will always be time for your Wishlist places, so don't hesitate to let me know!
