Along with work duties, this trip offers you the option to enjoy the Lebanese vibes in its fullest! In our free time after working hours and during weekends, there is always room for exploration and fun :). We will be able to visit many cities and mountain villages across the country, this includes a lot of delicious Food and an opportunity to enjoy the Lebanese Nightlife Vibes!! This trip has a lot of options and various destinations that suit all tastes. Our trip starts from Beirut where we will have the time to visit many neighborhoods and famous streets and landmarks. During weekends and our free time, we can visit coastal cities: Jeita, Jounieh, Byblos, Batroun, Anfeh, and Tripoli, and maybe go to the mountain villages and enjoy the breathtaking views from old cedar forests and natural reserves (we can always plan for a hike too if you are a hiking fan)! There’s always room to explore more!! What’s included? * Booking and logistics * Accommodation, A shared bedroom. A single Bedroom is also available with an additional fee * Transportation in my own car: From the apartment to our destinations mentioned in the itinerary and back during weekends (organized group activities) What’s not included? * Lunch, dinners, snacks, and Drinks (all meals other than the selected breakfast mentioned in the “What’s included” section) * Extra activities and free time activities * monuments entrances/Souvenirs * Telefrique Ticket * Travel insurance * Additional transport not mentioned in the itinerary * Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged for an extra fee * Flight tickets Visa and travel insurance: Please check visa and passport requirements prior to confirming this trip and any additional forms that you might need to fill First Meeting point: We will be meeting at the accommodation. I am Yara, an Architect, and researcher. I Am passionate about traveling and I’ve been exploring new cultures for the past 4 years. I love hiking, trekking, and meeting other open-minded travelers. In 2021 I completed the Everest Base Camp trek and it was one of the most beautiful experiences I ever had. During this trip, I would love to welcome you to my beautiful country and give you a memorable experience. I currently have a remote job as a Project Manager and usually my working schedule is from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm Beirut time.

Accommodation in or around Beirut will be in a shared apartment, price is for a shared bedroom basis. since it's a Coworking trip, the followings are a must to have and will be included: Good Wifi, and a suitable workstation. During our stay in the mountains, We will be staying in local guest houses or mountain lodges! (with delicious local food and always a great view to clear our minds from long working days during the week!) A single Bedroom is also available with an additional fee.

Trip Itinerary

Beirut

Day 1-2
Day 1: Arrival in Beirut and meet at the accommodation to settle and rest. In the evening we walk in the vibrant neighborhood and gather for dinner to get to know each other. For a drink, we can choose between Mar Mkhayel or Badaro to have some drinks - pub hopping style. Details of the accommodation will be shared at a later stage.

Beirut

Day 2
Day 2: Bienvenue a Beirut! Explore Beirut by car and Foot. We will be starting from Gemmayze to downtown, and then Hamra. we can stop and enjoy the breathtaking view from Ain El Mraysseh and the famous Raoucheh (Pigeon Rocks). After that e can head towards Batroun where we can have a tasty Lebanese lunch and then explore the old market and city historical sites. Note: transportation for this day is included in the trip cost.

Beirut

Day 2-8
Co-working week 1 (Day 3 to Day 7): This week we will be staying in a shared apartment in Beirut. after working hours we can plan for sightseeing, gatherings, or clubbing, depending on the group preferences. cost of activities planned during this week will be shared (Food, Transportations, ect...)

Tannourine Cedar Reserve محمية أرز تنورين

Day 8-9
Day 8 and 9: It’s time for Nature and the Old Cedars! On Day 8, we will check out from Beirut and head towards the mountains. We will be choosing together our hike and destinations based on your preferences. Some of the options would be the following: Go from Beirut to Tannourine, visit the old cedars Forest, and pass by to check the Baatara Gorge. We will be staying in the mountains this weekend and move to Byblos the next Day. Note: transportation for these two days is included in the trip cost.

Byblos

Day 9-14
On Day 9, After a relaxing weekend in the mountain, we will move to our Apartment located in Byblos. Coworking Week 2 will start! (Day 9 to 14) in our free time, we can explore the city or relax on its sandy beach. Plans to be organized based on group preferences and cost of activities during this week will be shared (Food, Transportations, ect...)

Tripoli

Day 14-15
Day 15: Tripoli - the old city We will be heading from Beirut to Tripoli, known as the capital of the north, and walk the old souks to reach the Citadel, The Citadel of Raymond de Saint-Gilles or Qala'at Sanjil. The city is very rich in historical monuments and Hammams in addition to local traditional crafts such as traditional soap making, jewelry, carpentry, and many more. After that, we will be going to Anfeh where we can have lunch by the sea and then go to explore Batroun: a treasure trove of Phoenician, Roman, and Byzantine history. Finally, we will stop back at Byblos.

Jounieh

Day 15
Day 15: On our Last day, we will check out from the apartment in the morning and head towards jounieh. A day to Visit the local market and take the teleferique and go up to Harissa and then go back and have a tasty dinner by the sea in Jounieh and explore its local pubs, then go back to Beirut. This will be the end of our trip
