About me! I’m Stanka, 28 years old. I did this trip last year with my partner and it was magical experience. So magical, that from the open water certification and island exploration trip became open water and advanced certification with special dives to the Comino caves, which was the most beautiful dive of them all. I’m slightly introverted, but really friendly and optimistic person with love for creating pictures and videos. I’ll take my GoPro and I’ll be happy to capture some of your unique moments under the sea 🌊

Details about the accommodation: We will be staying in a cute little house with a pool (small but 2m deep at one end). The rooms are shared (twin beds) so for personal comfort I recommend bringing a friend/partner, but anyways I’ll focus to creating a group of likeminded people to make sure we all have the best experience. The whole house is in cute Maltese style, clean and spacey. We will have breakfast included and there is a nice kitchen we can use for dinners. It’s also close to the dive shop and restaurants (10 minutes walk). I can send you the link to the accommodation on request, if you wanna see more. I’ve stayed there last summer so I can confirm from experience that we will get what’s in pictures.

Gozo

Day 1-8

We will stay the whole trip in one place, it’s 10 min walk from the dive shop, from where they’ll drive us to different dive spots around the island. The first day will be relaxing, we will get a chance to get to know each other and the area around. On the second day, we will head to the dive shop at 8am. (You’ll receive the study materials in advance so make sure you complete the tests in advance, I’ll send your reminders;)). The first day you’ll have the recap exam (super easy but important so you dive safely) and then you’ll have 2 dives with an instructor. All the guys working there were really nice and friendly. After the dives (around 1pm), based on how you feel, we will head to town to buy all the necessities in the store. On day 2-3, again you’ll continue the course in the morning and in the afternoon, we will take trips around the island (based on your energy levels).

On day 4 we will take a break from diving, instead we will visit Malta, or more spots around Gozo, based on your preferences + you’ll get materials for the advanced certification. I’ll be happy to dedicate a time of the day for your learning, but this day is also a great opportunity to see places like Wied il-Għasri and the Salt Pans.

Day 8

On day 5-6, we will do dives based on the weather. You’ll have the specialty dives, if the weather allows, one will be to comino caves (the most beautiful dive in my opinion), ship wreck dive and in land dive. Day 7 will be our last so we will spend it by seeing what we didn’t see in Gozo, or by having a day trip to Malta. If you’ll wish to stay longer in Malta, I’ll be happy to give you tips on what else to see.
