Trip Itinerary

Cartagena
Day 1-5
We will meet in Cartagena the first day, to do the hotel check-in and have a first dinner all together. The second day we will explore the city in all its parts, having a traditional fish lunch. The third day it's time to go to the beautiful Rosario Islands, and take a swim in the ocean. The fourth day, I'll bring you to the Totumo volcano, but this is optional: when you reserve the trip, you can decide if come, or remain in Cartagena and take another swim.

Medellín
Day 5-8
With a domestic flight, we will reach Medellin. This day we will not explore the city, we will just check-in in the hotel, have a typical dinner and relax. The second day we will explore the city center and the beautiful point of view on the hills around the city. On the third day, it's tike for a daily trip to Guatapé.

Salento
Day 8-10
We will leave Medellin by flight, to go to Pereira, and from there take a ride to Salento, where we will take a walk in this typical village of Eje Cafetero. We will be almost at 2000m, 6500ft. The secon day we will have a guided tour on a coffee farm in the morning, and in the afternoon we will take an hike to Cocora Valley.

Bogotá
Day 10-11
Leaving Salento, we will go back to Pereira airport to reach Bogota, the hogh Colombia capital. We will just have dinner and rest close to the airport, even because we will be higher than 2500m/8500ft, so maybe some of you can feel a little tired.

Villa de Leyva
Day 11-13
Leaving Bogota by bus, we will move to Villa de Leyva, this old colonial town. We will take a walk in his center, visiting the Chocolate Museum and having a typical dinner. The day after we will visit the house of terracotta in the morning, having a trip in the surrounding in the afternoon (Molino de Primavera farm and El Infiernito historical site).

Bogotá
Day 13-15
We leave Villa de Leyva to go back to Bogota, and explore the town center. The day after you can decide to do some shopping or coming with me and have a 13hours trip to Guatavita (old town and lagune) and Zipaquira (salt mine with via crucis inside, a real salt cathedral). The third and last day we end our trip, but for whose who will have the flight in the afternoon, we can think about going to Cerro of Monserrate hill, above 3000m/10000ft, having a traditional lunch and watching Bogota from the top of the mountains.
