In Gran Canaria we live as a large community (16 people in total) in the lively city of "Las Palmas". Just a few meters from the beach, right in the center of town and excellent wifi. We have two accommodations within walking distance from each other. Single rooms are available as well as shared rooms (2 people per room). This advertisement refers to a single room (of which a maximum of 8 are available). Our apartments have a special connection to CoWorking Spaces, which allows us many opportunities to the digitalnomad community on the island. You'll always have space and can retreat to your own room when you need time for yourself or your job. If you're looking for company, there will always be someone there for you. For the weekends we love to plan local trips and activities. If you don't have time for that, no problem. "Anything goes, nothing has to", is a way of life that makes our everyday life absolutely relaxed. Each of us works on our project and takes as much time as he/she needs for it. Whether it's an employee job from 09 to 17, whether it's a start-up company that's being built, whether it's a non-profit project or whether you're writing a book. Whatever you're working on, take all the time in the world. Want to chill, no problem, you have your room and you can retreat. Want to cook something with some roommates to relax? No problem, hungry roommates can always be found. Or you want to try the nearby yoga class with locals? You are sure to find someone who would love to accompany you. Live your life as you would in a shared apartment. The only difference is that it's not a typical student flat-share in an apartment building, but an incredible villa with fantastic roommates. The new roommates will quickly become a family and a squad full of cohesion that will support you in your crazy ideas, take you on 3 a.m. adventures and help you with your job duties. We value the time we spend together in one place and want to get to know the local culture and people as best we can. At the same time, we feel cozy in one place, which means that besides activities, we super like to relax in the villa, e.g. after work. There is no "must" participate in the activities and that is exactly what makes the trip so enjoyable. It feels like an actual shared apartment, just as a digital nomad abroad. The price includes full accommodation including strong wifi. We share the cost of restaurants/cooking ingredients/entertainment on the spot (always among the people who are there) and collect everything in a clear app. So nothing gets lost and we make everything super easy. ___ A project for everyone who takes their HomeOffice on a trip around the world.
