Coworking trip
Hi Guys! Ready to live the most adventurous Co-Working of your life 😎? We will spend 3 weeks in amazing Bali! Our days will unfold among rice paddies and monkeys, waterfalls and local markets, magical beaches, and sacred temples. During the week we will have both the hotel and a dedicated space for Co-working groups (only a 15-minute walk from the hotel) available for our business hours. It will be possible, then, to decide whether to opt for a more private setting inside the hotel, in the outdoor common spaces, connecting to its Wi-Fi, or to one of the SIM cards that I will personally procure. Or, whether to take advantage of the subscription (included in the price) to the dedicated Co-working facility, for a fast connection and a more lively atmosphere! Or again, combine both options! But first… it’s-a a me, Giulia! I'm the typical Italian girl, raised on Margherita Pizza 🍕 and weird hand gestures! I love meeting new people and getting to know new cultures. Whether you are looking for a new friend, a new mum, or a new mascotte, I can be the one for you 😬! But our stay in Bali will not only be work and sweat (in every sense of the word 😬), but mostly adventure! After work, in fact, we will take the opportunity to explore Ubud (where we will be staying) and its pearls, including Monkey Forest, its Art Market, the Botanical Garden, the famous rice paddies, Elephant Cave, and much more! Weekends, moreover, will be full of activities to maximize our time and discover the rest of the Island! Among other things, we will venture on a Snorkelling Tour to Lembongan and Penida, a sunset trek to Mount Batur, a local village to discover the Balinese cuisine, an expedition to Lempuyang Temple & Gates of Heaven, and many other excursions (find which activities and tours are included in the price while browsing "The trip costs include 💰" section). Although the weekend will be more organized, because of booked activities, the rest of the week we will enjoy great flexibility! So to ensure that we can all make the most of our free time (together or, for those who wish, on a solo schedule). For example, I will be working 4 days a week, leaving the fifth open for any impromptu adventures in discovering the Island (preferably with the company of those of you who will be able to break away from the computer like me)! This is to mean, that everyone will be able to decide to join or not join certain explorations based on their available time. We are we going to stay? 🏠
Our hotel will be located in Ubud, within walking distance from Ubud Palace and Ubud Market. The nearest Airport is Ngurah Rai International Airport, 28 km away (depending on the flight schedule, we may arrange in small groups of 2/3 to share the taxi/shuttle). The rooms will be divided as follows: - Standard Double Room with Single Beds (2 people) - Standard Double Room with Single Beds (2 people) - Standard Double Room (2 girls - small discount provided) - Standard Double Room (1 person - small overcharge expected) What about transportation? 🚕
For activities booked during weekends, transportation will be included (with Pickup at the hotel or in downtown Ubud). It will then be possible to rent a scooter for all those who would like to be more independent in moving around the Island, during their free time. Personally, given also the day off that I plan to include during the week, I will be renting a scooter locally to be able to explore the surroundings (prices at the moment are around 50-100 euros per monthly rental, including helmet - insurance depending on the renter). The trip costs include 💰:
- Accommodation (3-star Hotel) - All breakfasts - Free Wi-fi in the hotel - Monthly Membership to Beluna Co-working Space
-Ubud - Besakih Temple & Lempuyang Temple Gates of Heaven Tour - Sekumpul Waterfalls and Ulun Danu Temple Tour - Snorkeling Tour to Lembongan and Penida - Travel Insurance (unluckily, for now, provided only for travelers from Germany and Austria)

 What is not included 💸:
 - Flights - Lunches & Dinners - Balinese Cooking Class in a Local Village (OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: you can consider around 30€)
- Mount Batur Sunset Trek with Picnic (OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: you can consider around 55 €) - Waterfalls Tour in Ubud, with Rice Terraces & Jungle Swing (OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: you can consider around 65€) - Other activities not mentioned in “The trip costs include” - Scooter Rental - Travel Insurance (except travelers from Germany and Austria) ❕IMPORTANT GUIDELINES:
—> Always bring with you some cash 💶, you never know!
—> Wardrobe 🧥: you’ll need light clothes to help you withstand the temperatures, which are often very high. But, being October a month in between the seasons, it will necessary to bring also heavier clothes and a Rain Coat! Bring at least a couple of changes with trousers/pants that are long for the Temples’ visit (By the way, I’ll send you a list with all you need to bring one month before the departure!). —> TOURIST VISA REQUESTED 🛂 Traveling to Indonesia for tourism, with a stay of fewer than 30 days, the VOA, Visa On Arrival, will do just fine, to be taken directly at the airport either if you are arriving as your first stopover in Indonesia in Bali, or otherwise when you enter the airports in Soekarno Hatha in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Kualanamu in Sumatra, Juanda in East Java, Hasumuddin in South Sulawesi and Sam Ratulangi in North Sulawesi.
PLEASE NOTE: The Visa on Arrival for Bali (Indonesia) can now be purchased online BEFORE arriving in Bali. Last but not least, this trip was designed specifically for remote workers 💻, but those interested in joining as tourists will be absolutely free to participate, simply keeping in mind that it will be up to them to arrange their own activities during working hours.
