Hello travelers! Let’s live and work together for 10 days near the beautiful Transylvania Mountains! Imagine a city where the houses are watching wherever you go. Imagine a country full of castles and citadels, legends and traditions, mixed with beautiful landscapes of colorful forests, lakes and mountains, medieval towns and fairytale houses… Welcome to Romania! Or we should say, welcome to the fairy tale land. We will explore the wonderful places together by car after work and on the weekends. September is a great time to visit Romania as there isn’t a high season anymore, but the weather in autumn is still great and warm. Mornings and afternoons will see us being productive in the comfort of our villa, with excellent Wi-Fi in every part of the place. Can you imagine in this place standing in the evening by the campfire under the sky full of stars, playing the guitar, reading a book or sharing beautiful memories with TripMates over a glass of wine? We will explore Transylvania and visit the fascinating Transfagarasan spectacular Road through the Carpathian Mountains and the Fairy Valley Clay Castle, a valley at the base of Fagaras Mountains, a unique and magical fairy tale place. We are looking for 7-8 friendly, nature lovers, creative explorers and like-minded people who are ready to come with us. With a positive attitude, we can experience together a couple of days in a memorable way.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: For 10 days we will enjoy living together in a rustic villa with modern facilities, in the middle of nature, at the foot of the mountains with wonderful landscapes. The 6-bedroom villa (shared rooms) is located in a forest-park, it has a huge garden crossed by 3 streams with crystal clear mountain water. The garden has multiple places to relax and work, terraces, a swimming pool and a small lake. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲? We Izabella and Sunny, locals born in Brasov, Transylvania are always in love with travel, looking for beautiful sunsets, great experiences, sharing our passions and creativity.
As locals, we can be flexible with the activities and the itinerary. All transportation and transfers from the airport are included, a BBQ and wine tasting too. Arpașu de Sus
Day 1-10
Our 6 bedrooms (shared rooms) away from home comfortably sleeps 12 people. The Jacuzzi and Sauna room with a view of the mountains could give any postcard a run for its money. And let's not forget the outdoor dining and lounging area alongside the large pool and beautiful big garden and a small lake. Can you imagine in this place standing in the evening by the campfire under the sky full of stars, playing the guitar, reading a book or sharing beautiful memories with TripMates over a glass of wine? At 5 minutes’ walk we have a tourist complex with a trout farm, a restaurant and an amazing view, where we can have outdoor activities: horse riding, fishing, tennis.

Transfagarasan in Romania is the world's best road trip according to Top Gear. Balea Lake is one of the most visited lakes in Romania. What is so special about it? Well, first of all, the road to Balea Lake and also the landscape you can admire on that spot are amazing. The lake is also a reservation and near it, in winter, you can find the first ice hotel built in Eastern Europe. Balea Lake is a glacier lake situated at 2,034 meters of altitude in the Fagaras Mountains, in the central area of Romania. The lake is accessible by car on the Transfagarasan road (an amazing, awesome road crossing the Fagaras Mountains) during the summer and the rest of the year by cable car from “Bâlea Cascadă” (Balea waterfall).

Sibiu
Day 10
In Transylvania, there’s a city that never sleeps, a city that is always watching you. In Sibiu, the houses have eyes. We will visit the historical center of the city then we go to visit a traditional open-air museum called Dumbrava Sibiului, which we can visit strolling quietly through its forest and its lake and finding typical Romanian houses.

Castelul de Lut Valea Zânelor
Day 10
Fairy Valley Clay Castle is the ideal location to leave real life behind briefly. Located only 30 minutes drive from the villa. This castle, built by hobbits, is made only of natural materials (mud, river stones and sand). Has 2 levels and 10 rooms, 2 towers and 50 windows. Architecture is based on organic forms.

Brambura Park & Upside down House
Day 10
The Amusement Park, located about nine kilometers from Avrig, the main attraction of Brambura Park is definitely the upside-down house. Built according to all the rules, the house, fully furnished, is done in reverse.

Brașov
Day 10
We can visit Brasov, the most beautiful city in Romania, with plenty of history, excellent restaurants, adventure, and natural attractions. We can go to Adventure Park and Zoo, to take lunch at a rustic restaurant, cable car Mt. Tampa and more. The last day, hopefully, will start with a beautiful sunrise. Upon departure, we’ll thank our very kind hosts who ask us to come back one day, and we finish this lovely road trip arriving safely at the airport, very happy with batteries recharged and fresh mountain energy, ready to start a new awesome journey…
