I will take you through the most beautiful places to see Korea's cherry blossoms. We'll be travelling through all of Korea, exploring culture and history, as well as nature and big city lives! Spring is one of the best seasons to visit, everything is getting ready for summer, the trees are blooming and the weather is getting warmer. Don't miss out on this adventure!

About me: Hi, I'm Katha. I've been living in Korea for a little more than a year now. I love this country and it's odds, and I love showing it to other people. I'm very open and outgoing, I can guarantee it will never get boring! :)

Accommodation: We'll be mostly staying at Hotels or Hotel-like Hostels, two people per bedroom or four people in one. The accommodations are always clean, and we'll be sleeping in good and convenient locations, so we don't have to spend too much time on the ride. If possible I'll be finding places with a breakfast (it's not that usual in Korea, though, so it could be tricky) I'll make sure to provide a good resting place for all of the TripMates! I booked a trip with Katharina to see the cherry blossoms in South Korea and enjoyed it a lot! She is very nice and a lot of fun. :) From the get-go, she was very approachable with all questions one might have before travelling. I really appreciated how she tried to accommodate individual wishes and worked them into our itinerary. And as someone else mentioned, Katharina does know a lot of great places to eat in Korea. Perhaps a tad more planning would have made the trip even better but all in all it was a great experience!

The trip through South Korea was varied, we laughed a lot and my absolute highlight: we tried new dishes every day and it was always delicious and cheap. Katha tried to cater to all our wishes. I would have liked more punctuality and felt that the price for the accommodation (5 people in one room) & included services was quite high. This could be optimized with early planning. Katha is super communicative and it was fun traveling with her. I was grateful to have someone who spoke the language and could answer all my questions. I was very pleased with my farewell gift.

Jinhae-gu

Day 1-3
We'll be meeting up at Seoul station or the airport to take the train to our first stop, Jinhae. It is a beautiful city in the middle of South Korea and the best place to see Cherry Blossoms. We'll be using this day to relax and just enjoy a stroll through the streets of pink clouds, as the city is pretty small, there is no need to rush things.

Busan

Day 3-6
The second stop will be this amazing city by the see. We'll see all the cultural sights like the Gamcheon village or the Busan International Film Festival Square, as well as the nature, the sea and of course lots of Cherry Blossoms. Busan is a must-see for everyone.

Gyeongju-si

Day 6-8
Gyeongju, is a must visit for Drama and History fans! It's a beautiful place with beautiful palaces and old buildings, a lot of themed and atmospheric cafes. We will enjoy our stay in the small city before ending our trip with the nuzzling capital of Korea.

Seoul

Day 8-12
We'll end our trip with 5 dazzling days in the busy capital. By the time we will arrive, the cherry blossoms will have reached Seoul and we will be able to enjoy them at such beautiful places like the Yeouido Hangang Park, Seokcho lake aso.. we will pack the trip with a visit to one of the palaces and museums and also stuff ourselves with a lot of street food before we'll make our way to our home countries.
